JOB TITLE: Senior Service Manager
BASE OFFICE: Swindon
SALARY: £28 – 32,000 negotiable
Due to expansion within the Swindon Area Office, we are seeking a seeking a Senior Service Manager to provide additional support to the Area Manager in the day to day operational management of the office. This is a new position of considerable responsibility where confidentiality is key.
The post holder will be expected to take ownership of the services and provide specific clinical advice and support to Service Managers and Team Leaders ensuring high quality management of services at all times that are specific to the needs and requirements of each person who uses the service. You will have strategic and participative involvement in finance, quality audits, staff development, service development and contract compliance and the supervision of staff. Therefore your ability to motivate, manage and organise a diverse and vibrant work environment and to work effectively with external professionals and other managers at a senior level is key.
You will have a broad range of skills and experience that relates to the delivery and development of high quality service provision to vulnerable people living in their communities as well as proven care managerial experience. A related professional qualification is expected such as LCMS / RMA or similar. The successful applicant must be a driver with their own transport and willing to travel in the Wiltshire and surrounding areas as required, and participate in on call within the region.
