My Client is a recently formed, privately owned company that provide both Domiciliary care and supported living for people with learning disabilities. Due to expansion, they are seeking weekend support workers to work with their services in the Dorset area.. Locations include Wareham, Christchurch, Mudeford, Ferndown, Corfe Mullen and Bournemouth at present
As a support worker, we are looking for individuals with experience in working with individuals with learning / physical disabilities, challenging behaviours, mental health issues and associated complex needs..
You will be supporting people with everyday tasks in life to further individual's independence ( this may include personal care) and arranging and participating in social activities etc.
The most important skills you can bring to us are life skills - patience, commitment, initiative and understanding
Hours are flexible and can be full time, part time and bank.. My client is especially interested in staff who are looking for weekend work
Successful candidates must be drivers, with their own car.
Rates are £7.25 per hour weekdays and £7.75 per hour for weekend days. Sleep ins are paid at a flat rate of £25.00 per night during the week and £30.00 per night at weekends
