Up to £28,000 plus car allowance

Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Domiciliary Care Manager /Registered Manager based in Stafford, the Domiciliary Care Manager / Registered Manager will be rewarded with a salary of £28,000 per annum plus car allowance.
The Domiciliary Care Manager / Registered Manager will ensure that people receive a flexible and responsive home care and support service which promotes independence and meets needs and aspirations.
In this pivotal role you will work with other members of the team to provide a high quality and cost effective service which demonstrates value for money. You will be responsible for ensuring that the service is compliant with all the essential standards of quality and safety set out by the care quality commission.
Other duties include ensuring that all people have an up to date care plan, which reflects their needs and aspirations including appropriate risk assessments. You will also ensure that all the staff respect and promote people’s rights to privacy, dignity and choice and that a personalised service is delivered. Additionally you will enable and empower customers to participate fully in decision making about their care as appropriate.
The Domiciliary Care Manager / Registered Manager will possess a related managerial qualification (e.g. NVQ 4, Registered Managers Award, QCF 5) along with knowledge of dementia care and a commitment to professional development. Substantial experience of working in a care setting and working knowledge at a senior/ supervisory level is essential. You will also have experience of supervising, appraising, training and coaching employees and the ability to manage financial plans and budgets.
Due to the nature of the role you will be need to be able to drive across the business area with access to your own vehicle. You will be flexible and willing to work occasional evenings, weekends and bank holidays and participate in a management on call rota.

Additional Requirements: Care Quality Commission approval as the Registered Manager and an enhanced CRB Disclosure.
