We offer our clients a range of services from a minimum of one hour every four weeks, anywhere in between and up to, full time live in care. We offer a wide range of both practical tasks and personal care that can be tailored to suit the clients individual requirements.
Roles and responsibilities of the position include:
? Assisting and accompanying clients during daily activities
? Assisting clients with their mobility
? Performing housekeeping tasks such as vacuuming, cleaning and laundry
? Preparing food for clients
? Assisting clients with personal hygiene and dressing while maintaining respect for individual need, dignity and privacy at all times
? Arranging social activities
? Providing companionship, friendship and emotional support
? Doing shopping and running errands
? Liaising with care manager
? Documenting services provided, incidents and/or accidents, time sheets and updating other records
? Participating in team meetings, reviews and quality improvement strategies
? To undertake any other duties at the request of the Care Manager which are commensurate with the role, including internal job rotation and absence cover.
Essential qualifications:
? Police check/clearance
? Full UK driving licence
? Basic literacy and numeracy
? Experience of working with the public
? Good communication skills
? Good customer Care Skills
? Good team worker
Desirable:
? NVQ II in Care (or equivalent)
? 2+ years relevant experience
