My Client is a national company that provide supported living and residential care for people with learning disabilities and acquired bran injury. Due to expansion, they are seeking an experienced support worker to work with their Learning Disabilities residential service in Little Broadheath on the outskirts of Worcester, Worcestershire As a support worker, we are looking for individuals with experience in working with individuals with learning / physical disabilities, challenging behaviours, mental health issues and associated complex needs.. You will be supporting people with everyday tasks in life to further individual's independence ( this will include personal care) and arranging and participating in social activities etc. The most important skills you can bring to us are life skills - patience, commitment, initiative and understanding The successful candidates will be an experienced support worker, with NVQ2 or a minimum of 3 years experience working in care, ideally with learning disabilities, , challenging behaviours and complex needs. All applicants must be drivers, as you will be required to drive the vehicle belonging to the home, to transport the service users when they go out Hours are full time Rates - £7.25 per hour for days and £7.50 per hour for waking nights for candidate without NVQ qualifications - £7.35 per hour for days and £7.60 per hour for waking nights for candidate with NVQ qualifications - sleep ins are paid at a flat rate of £25.00 per night
