White paper gives hope for the future

The English Community Care Association (ECCA), the leading representative body for independent care providers, has responded to the publication of the Government’s White Paper on the future of social care.

Martin Green, Chief Executive of ECCA, says:

“Many of the proposals in this White Paper will be supportive of the care sector and our disappointment is in the fact that many of the proposals have a very long lead-in time”.

“ECCA is committed to working with any government that will advocate long-term solutions for the funding of social care”.
