Caremark (Aylesbury & Wycombe) scoops top award at Caremark Annual Conference!

Franchise Owners from all over the UK gathered for the important event and enjoyed an informative and uplifting day followed by a Gala Dinner and Awards Ceremony.

The Franchise Owner of the Year award is the most prestigious award presented by Caremark and is given in recognition of the growth and development of the business, the standards of care delivery, adherence to the Caremark process and system and also acknowledges the qualities of a business leader.

In spite of the current difficult economic climate, Caremark (Aylesbury & Wycombe) was able to report significant growth throughout 2011 with business coming in steadily from both the private market and the NHS and Buckinghamshire County Council.

A strong recruitment drive throughout the year, coupled with their intensive training of their care workers ensured that Caremark (Aylesbury & Wycombe) were well placed to accept customers requiring the delivery of specialist support and complex needs including those with physical disabilities, learning disabilities and terminal illnesses.

2011 also saw the company expand its services to provide care and support for children and young people, plus a live-in service called Habito, alongside its current service to older people.

Commenting on the award, Janis Anderson reflected “I was delighted to accept the award, which reflects the huge effort put in by our care manager, co-ordinators, supervisors and care workers to build a business providing high quality and professional care to vulnerable people”.
