Independence Clubs for community based leisure and learning
Date of article: 20-Mar-12
Caremark, the Bucks based home care company, will be at the Buckingham Library on Thursday 5 April from 10:00 to 1:00 where we will be giving information on our Independence Clubs which help those with disabilities and the elderly gain access to leisure and learning activities and events in the community.
Anyone can join our small groups of like minded people to learn new skills, enjoy some art and craft, listen to music, chat at a coffee morning, or take part in gentle walks and bird watching. You can come along to meet new people or come with some friends you already know or with your own carer.
We can provide transport to those who need it, and our friendly support workers will make sure you fit in and enjoy your day.
At the Providers Open Day in Buckingham we can tell you more about our Clubs or you can call us or complete a questionnaire which you wil find on the Independence Club tab on our website.
