Caremark Bedford Opens for Business
Date of article: 30-May-12
Following a rigorous interview and inspection process by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), Caremark Bedford was delighted to receive news recently that it has been registered to provide care and support for local people in their own homes. The CQC, which inspects and regulates all care providers, judged that Caremark Bedford meets all its essential standards of quality and safety. Sisters Jo Fitzmaurice and Hayley Parkins, who own and manage the business, are committed to not only providing the highest standards of care and support to people in their community, but also to be continually, recruiting, training and supporting their hand picked team of care and support workers.
“Starting any new venture is always a challenge, and we are under no illusion that this will be a walk in the park. Care at home is seemingly always under the spotlight of negative press coverage and when making our decision to join the Caremark network we were very conscious of this. However the professionalism and continued support we have had from Caremark and its national network of businesses has been phenomenal. Our desire to provide the highest standard of care at home stems from our own experiences and those desires are mirrored throughout the Caremark network, to be part of that network and have that wealth of experience to draw upon will be invaluable to us as we start and begin to grow our business.”
Caremark Bedford will be providing personalised care and support in all areas of the Borough of Bedford, including the town itself and all outlying villages. Our services can also extend to supporting you in the community, assisting in your sense of inclusion and wellbeing. This can include helping you with things like shopping, attending community groups, trips out, meeting friends or supporting you during a leisure activity. At Caremark we can provide as much or as little support as you need
