Liverpool Completes a Trio of Success Events for Care Roadshows 2012
Date of article: 27-Jun-12
Broadway Events, the organisers of Care Roadshows, are pleased to announce promising visitor numbers for their first three shows of 2012.
So far the roadshows have attracted over 450 key decision makers from around the country to events held in Glasgow, Gateshead and Liverpool. The roadshows help care home owners and managers to learn more about the sector, to network with other industry professionals and to source new products and services. Each roadshow has attracted suppliers and experts who can provide advice and guidance relevant to the local area.
The latest event, Care Roadshow Liverpool was held at Aintree Racecourse on Tuesday 19th June. It attracted a range of owners and managers from BUPA, Community Integrated Care, HC-One, Meridian Healthcare plus many others. The show also hosted five seminars focusing on important topics such as fee negotiation, the CQC’s regulatory model and nutrition.
Commenting on Care Roadshow Liverpool, Jane Davies, Nautilus Welfare Fund stated: “The day was very well organised and the racecourse is an excellent venue. I particularly liked the seminar from the CQC and the sample food from apetito was a definite winner. Overall we were helped to settle in well at the show.”
Later in the year Care Roadshows will be held in Derby on Tuesday 23rd October and Brighton on Tuesday 20th November. These events will feature a range of care home suppliers and will host seminars by the Social Care Association, apetito, ReVitalyz and other organisations.
