I was recommended the services of Walfinch carers and I have been very happy with them. From the initial consultation where I voiced my concerns about my husband's physical health problems and his dementia, all were dealt with. The carer who now comes in every Wednesday afternoon, to allow me to go
to my quilting class, is very caring with a lovely sense of humour.
I would certainly recommend Walfinch to anyone in need of first class care.

We first called on Walfinch for help a couple of years ago for a few weeks' help after a hospital stay....all went very well and they were very kind and helpful. Consequently, when we needed more permanent help in Feb 2025 we went back to Walfinch. It was lovely to reconnect with the carers we met before
and some of the newer ones. So far they have all been very professional, polite, friendly and reassuring. If we have a carer who is new to me, I make sure I am around to check that she/he does what is needed. So far no problems.
If you do have a worry or concern it is very easy to ring the office and have a word. Someone will always get back to you and help to get your concerns sorted. I find that everyone is very supportive and willing to help if needed. Obviously the Company/set up is not perfect but I think they would be hard to beat. I have one carer to do a proper shower once a week and a visit every evening with one carer to sort out bedtime. All good
Reply from Greg Renk, Managing Director at Walfinch Mid & South BuckinghamshireThank you for your kind words, and I'm really happy we are able to support you when you need it most.

Marcelo and his team are caring, thoughtful and compassionate and take the time to assess your loved ones needs correctly pairing the right carers with the right people. In our case we needed companionship at this stage and the matched carer was a perfect fit. Highly recommend Walfinch for all your
home care needs.

Very prompt visit from the Walfinch representative to speak to Mum about the care/help she was wanting. Mum felt very relaxed and able to tell Kam her needs. The paperwork was emailed the following day. This explained everything you would like to know about the company. Also everything that was needed
from Mum and what was expected from her carer. The care started the Monday of the following week. Mum has had 2 lovely ladies visit her and she is very happy and accepting of them. I would certainly recommend this care company for anyone who is looking for help for their loved ones.

I am delighted and so grateful for the care, kindness and support provided by the Walfinch team for my nieces and, indeed, myself. Without their commitment and passion to improve the quality of my nieces' well-being, they would not have been able to stay in their own home. I highly recommend them; their
carers deliver an exemplary service each and every day.

Walfinch maintain a high standard of care for my elderly mother who has many physical health issues as well as advancing dementia. The carers themselves are genuinely friendly, supportive and competent, and make a real difference to family life, and are invaluable in bringing some lightness to what

All the staff at Walfinch East Barnet are completely customer focused and highly professional. They are friendly and helpful, ensuring the best for their clients.
We have a live-in carer for my dad and she is amazing. I wanted someone to assist and encourage my dad to be self sufficient as much as
possible and that's exactly what they do. They cook, shop and do tasks together, helping to keep my dad able to carry out day to day tasks. Marcelo and the rest of the office staff take the time to listen and understand my requirements and match the correct carer. They have helped out at short notice and I don't know what I would have done without their help. I would recommend the Walfinch East Barnet branch 100%
Reply from Marcelo Navarro, Manager director at Walfinch East BarnetStephen, thank you so much for your kind words.

We're really pleased to hear that the live-in care for your dad is working so well and that he's being supported to stay as independent as possible. That's exactly what we aim to achieve.

Thank you also for your trust in me and the team. It means a lot to know our support, especially at short notice, has made a difference. We truly appreciate your recommendation.

Best wishes,

I would like to thank Afshan and her wonderful team for the personal care of my late father 'Gordon'.
Afshan came to our aid and my fathers in so many wonderful ways. Personally, living out of country and introducing Afshan and her team into my dad's care, made his kids worry that little less. They
provided personal care, companionship, trips to the Doctors/pharmacy or shopping missions, making my dads life easier in his later yrs. My father was very well looked after in his home and his care team were such a gift.
Plz do not hesitate to bring Walfinch team into your loved ones home to care for your elders.

The service is diligent and caring, and responsive to requests for specific help to be provided. The staff are courteous and kind. The app is a good idea and enables the family to get an overview of what is going on, from a distance. It's not always easy, of course, to pick up the nuance of emotions
or problems from those reports. We will ask for a a more detail discussion of the care plan and how the carers find my brother in the next month or so.

My carer is almost always punctual which for me is very important. She is very much aware of my 'care plan' which she executes very well. Occasionally I find that she strides to be very ridge, perhaps too ridge. She is always respectful and polite. We are able to chat to one another in quite a relaxed
manner,(again very important to me) despite age differences. With a few of the problems I have, she has been able to make very sensible, insightful suggestions. She has become a very positive part of my life enabling me to live in my own home.
Reply from Laura Woollard, Managing director at Walfinch SouthamptonThank you for your kind review.
We will always be here to help and support you to stay independent in your own home and assist you in every way we can. It's good to know you have built up a good rapport with the professional care support and you get on well despite the age difference.
Again thank you for the kind words.

1) I would like to thank all carers who have attended to me, for their care and attention to my needs at all hours.
2) I appreciate that clients have many needs. Mine is to shower and dress each morning. Late attendance at 10:00 am is awkward.
3) It is a problem when times of attendance change after
the weekly rota is provided, without warning. Please advise time changes as necessary before the day of attendance.
4) Overall, totally satisfied and appreciative of the care provided.
Reply from Kamaljit Gill, Provider at Walfinch OxfordshireThank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are really pleased to hear that you feel well supported by our carers and that you are satisfied with the care provided overall.

We truly appreciate your kind words about our care team and the dignity and respect shown during your visits. Your comments regarding visit timings are also valued. We understand how important consistent and timely support is, particularly with morning routines, and we apologise for any inconvenience caused when visit times have varied or been later than expected.

Please be assured that we take this feedback seriously and will continue to work closely with our scheduling team to improve communication and minimise changes wherever possible. We are always happy to discuss preferred times and keep you informed should any adjustments be required.

Thank you again for your feedback and for trusting us with your care. It is greatly appreciated.

Prior to Walfinch my wife had been 24/7 carer for mum and she was very apprehensive about bringing in outsiders but also had reached a point that she was exhausted and recognised she needed help as mum's mobility was deteriorating. Walfinch were prompt to come and see us and explain their services
in detail and the managers were able to organise care for our mum very quickly. We had a team of approx 5 carers (3 times a day, 7days a week) - almost all were excellent - well presented, caring and professional. The care was over a short period as mum passed away soon after Walfinch started but we very much appreciated the support at a very stressful time.
Reply from Marcelo Navarro, Manager director at Walfinch East BarnetThank you very much for your kind feedback. We truly appreciate you taking the time to share your experience with Walfinch during such a difficult period for your family.
We understand how challenging it can be to accept support, and we are pleased that our team was able to respond quickly and support your mum with professionalism, care, and compassion. We will be sure to pass your comments on to the carers involved.

Please accept our sincere condolences on the loss of your mum. We are honoured to have been able to support you during such a stressful time and thank you for placing your trust in Walfinch.

We switched agencies during my mothers care to work with Walfinch and were not dissapointed. WalFinch carers visited my mother at home for several years, and were of great help and comfort to her. They coped well with routine work, with complex matters (e.g. mental health matters) and with emergencies. They were kind, competent, well-meaning and friendly. Support from the management and office
was very good, and my mother especially enjoyed coming to the WalFinch Christmas party.
