In almost every respect our residence at The Meadows meets what we expected in a retirement environment. The bungalow quality is excellent and in many respects there is a near holiday atmosphere. Above all the care assistance by the ladies is superb. In some aspects of the grounds management require
nagging to get a required result. Energy costs should be lower.

I have lived here 14 years and found all the carers and all the staff caring. Luckily I have not needed them up to now but in the future I might. I would be very pleased to have them.

My wife Judy and I love living here since September 2024. I am fully mobile but my wife is in a wheelchair. We are both very pleased with the support that we receive from Care South. We have no criticisms.

I only use the care once a fortnight to help with housekeeping. It seems to work well. It would be nice to have the same person each time.

As I live over 200 miles away I rely on the carers to help and support my Mum.
The carers are reliable and are always friendly when I speak to them on the phone.
The head office team respond quickly to any communication and help me resolve any issues that arise whether it's picking up medication
or taking Mum to appointments.

I embarked on my career in the care industry in 2006 and have since gained extensive experience across a range of care settings, including domiciliary care, residential care, supported living, and patient transport services.


Throughout my career, I have held several senior leadership roles, including Registered Manager, Operations Manager, and Regional Manager. I have worked closely with teams to ensure compliance with CQC standards, support HR functions, oversee training programmes, manage accounts, and contribute to marketing strategies. My operational and strategic expertise has enabled me to consistently deliver high-quality services while maintaining the highest standards of care.


In addition to these roles, I have served as Executive Manager and Business Development Manager, where I focused on driving growth and operational efficiency within the organisation. I also undertook an interim role as Regional Director, leading regional teams through periods of transition and ensuring continued success during these times.


In 2022, I transitioned into the role of Operations Support Manager at Care South at Home, where I played a pivotal part in driving operational improvements and supporting team development. By 2025, I was honoured to take on the position of Head of Care at Home and Care Manager for the Somerset and West Dorset service. In this capacity, I lead a dedicated team of professionals, always ensuring that the well-being of those we support is at the forefront of everything we do, and continuously striving to improve the quality of our services.


I am passionate about creating an environment where clients receive the care they deserve, and where teams feel supported and empowered to deliver exceptional care. With over 19 years of experience in the sector, I remain focused on maintaining high standards, enhancing service delivery, and leading with integrity and compassion, always ensuring compliance with CQC regulations and delivering care that meets or exceeds regulatory standards.
