The care has been brilliant, continually for my son Stephen is very important and with parkinsons and dementia, you can't rush him. The only issue is that sometimes in the morning it's late when carers arrive due to their rota. And Stephen has been in bed for 14 to 15 hours same position and he's very stiff bless him. Overall staff brilliant with Stephen and myself.

Mum was referred on to Care South at Home as part of her D2A package following a hospital stay. She was previously independent and having people come to the house for personal care was difficult. The team were superb, supportive and encouraging mum to be as independent as possible. All so very lovely. My parents also live quite remotely which did present some challenges, but all the carers were accommodating. Thank you for this service, kindness & support.

In almost every respect our residence at The Meadows meets what we expected in a retirement environment. The bungalow quality is excellent and in many respects there is a near holiday atmosphere. Above all the care assistance by the ladies is superb. In some aspects of the grounds management require nagging to get a required result. Energy costs should be lower.

Meet the Team (1)
I started my career in the care sector in 1995, working in a nursing home for over 10 years. During this time, I progressed from Care Assistant to Senior Carer, gaining extensive hands-on experience in delivering high-quality, person-centred care and supporting residents with a wide range of needs.
In 2010, I joined Care South as a Supervisor. Through dedication and continued professional development, I progressed to become a D2A (Discharge to Assess) Specialist Team Supervisor, supporting individuals transitioning from hospital settings and promoting independence through safe discharge planning.
I have now been promoted to Manager for the Somerset and West Dorset Service, where I continue to lead and support teams in delivering high-quality care within the community, whilst promoting dignity, independence, and positive outcomes for the people we support
