I found the team to be very kind, caring and friendly helping husband and myself through the tough times we had.

Always well presented when they came to the house and well mannered.

Many thanks to them for all the help they gave.

In general, the service provided has been outstanding. I have been very impressed by the care and attention shown to my mother with staff often "going the extra mile" when issues have arisen e.g taking my mother to A & E to be checked after a fall.
The only reasons I have given a good for management rather than excellent is that there have been a few changes of personnel which though understanding that this happens has occasionally compromised the previously excellent communications. It would be helpful if emails were always acknowledged to save phone calls checking receipt.

From the first contact with Clarriots Care by phone, they provide excellent personal service. They communicate well. The best part for our family though was the consistency of carers. My mum has dementia and needs things to be consistent and reliable. The carer was on time ever reliable and appropriate and of the utmost support to my mum and the wider family.
We have appreciated their flexibility being able to work around us when necessary.

Recently my mother has become more comfortable with her care plan.
There is a regular pattern to her care and this has helped her to put more trust in her carers.
She is experiencing a high level of anxiety which is currently being handled with sympathy and patience.

Care provided is very personal but professional. Carers communicate well with client and family and provide a valuable link in the care chains.

Staff are punctual and delays are communicated in good time.
Dementia care and understanding is very important and staff are able to communicate on an appropriate level.

Generally very happy with service. Head office always very helpful. Slightly concerned re: staff turnover, however, all staff do their best. Indeed, some staff go above and beyond their call of duty. In essence, Clarriots are invaluable towards mum's daily care.

Excellent support given by all of the carers visiting my dad. Carers take the time to listen to my dad's needs and support him in his own home.

James W Carratt

Job Title: Director

Description:

Clarriots Care was founded in 2008 by James W Carratt. His grandparents struggled to access the good quality care they deserved and he wanted better. Recognising that not all older people want to end up in a residential home, James wanted to deliver a high quality care service to individuals in the comfort of their own home.

So that’s exactly what he did. James knew that to discover what it meant to deliver a truly unique homecare experience, he would first have to gain an insight into the life-changing work Clarriots Care would deliver each day. For three years, James worked as a Care Companion, making memories and forging lifelong bonds with his clients. The lessons and values he learnt during this time along with his insatiable appetite for delivering only the very best care services have filtered
down through every level of the business. Indeed, it’s safe to say that Clarriots truly does Care.

James is focused on promoting the long term success of Clarriots Care, and with a sound understanding of the industry and its challenges (having worked in all roles at Clarriots Care), James is now driving our expansion plans in the UK and Ireland forward to ensure as many people as possible have access to high quality care in the comfort of their own home.
