I have a private account with MiHomeCare for 4/5 years. I'm a young adult in a wheelchair living alone which means I rely on MiHomeCare to provide me with a reliable service that accommodates my daily activities. The agency is more geared towards the elderly which means a number of issues come up. I know this for a fact because of a number of meetings were held with managers and the finance team to get the package running properly so I am an independent young adult. A big issue recently was backdated invoices from Dec 2016 to Sept 2017 I was asked to sign them off quickly whilst doing a degree final year. I have been left with no carer or carers cancelling 1 hour before I booked, the carer that took over this visit was a carer that works over 20 hours during the week escorting me to and from university which meant this particular individual did not get time off/day off overall I would say MiHomeCare should definitely improve on accommodating such a package rather than making the client feel they need leave.
How likely would you be to recommend MiHomecare (Brockley)? Extremely Unlikely
