Overall Experience

My carers are usually excellent but occasionally are rushed. They carry out tasks with great care. They are adaptable as sometimes the tasks can change. Communication with the office staff is good and welcoming. I'm never made to feel I'm a nuisance for phoning. If I ever had to complain the complaint is dealt with immediately.

Overall Experience

Both ladies have helped me to have more time to myself. My aunt has been difficult for them to start off with but now the routine has helped her to keep going especially first thing in the morning. When contacting the office most times everything the staff do is a great help.

Overall Experience

Home Instead was a lifesaver when they came up with a plan to look after both Mum and Dad following Dad's discharge from the hospital. This was such a relief to us as a family, knowing they would be cared for in our absence, especially with Mum suffering from Alzheimer's. Otherwise, she would have had to go into a care home which we all didn't want to happen. All of their carers are brilliant, reliable and can't do enough.

Overall Experience
Since using Home Instead, I have felt more comfortable with strangers. A stranger is only a friend you haven't met yet. Home Instead have eased my mind, when you've got 100 things to think about when caring for somebody.

Home Instead are always there for you and at the end of the phone when you want them. Home Instead relate to your needs. I have used other agencies and Home Instead are the best.

Overall Experience

I mainly use this service to cope with my weekly shop but all your helpers, that I have known over I think three years, have become friends. I make a shopping list, a very long one, and it's not simply that it's followed by the bother but I'm grateful for the various helpers that have been supportive and so kind. If something is not available they find substitutes, which on occasions become the first choice. They also ask if there is anything else they can do and it's my independence which means that I can never think of additional help or needs.

Carers were excellent, but mother realised she did not require the help, especially given the cost (though we do understand the quality of service comes with cost) and the fact the carers came so early.

Overall Experience

Home Instead provided care for my grandmother, and later my mother in the term of respite and social contact. My mother looked forward to visits and enjoyed the company of staff who visited. The provider of respite was a lifeline to me, and enable me to take short holidays. I cannot fault Home Instead as a service provider.

Overall Experience
I was very impressed from my initial call on Tuesday to how quickly the care package was set up for the Thursday. Home Instead was not the only company I approached but they were the most proactive.

We had four overnight stays a week for my mother which were covered by two very caring ladies well suited to her. If my mother had not died, we would still be using the service as my brother and I felt they had almost become part of the family.

The carers were very professional, always remembering PPE. The showed patience and compassion when dealing with my husband. They went above my expectations in the care they have shown - worrying about my well-being as well as his. I had no complaints - they were punctual and efficient, cleaning up where necessary. Highly recommended.

I want to thank the staff at Home Instead for all their wonderful care and attention to my Mum's needs. We became very attached to many of the carers. They were so kind and considerate, remembering Mum's likes and dislikes, and personal details about her. They took pride in their work and showed love and compassion, sincerity and integrity. I would also like to say an enormous thank you to one particular lady in the office, who was always so understanding and accommodating! Thank you all! I highly recommend this care company.

Rebecca Bradley

Rebecca began her career with Home Instead as a Care Professional in Wetherby in 2012, after graduating from University. Since then she has developed her knowledge, skills and experience across all aspects of the business, working at a number of Home Instead franchises, before arriving at our Chester office as General Manager in 2022.

Rebecca is now Group General Manager for our enterprise group, comprising Home Instead Wirral, Home Instead Chester and Home Instead Liverpool South.

Mary Jordan

Mary has also worked for Home Instead for 15 years. If you live in South Wirral she will also ensure you get the premium service you deserve.
