Receive good quality and respected care from all my care professionals. All of my care professionals understand my needs, and I have a good chat with all of them. Sometimes, when I'm not feeling 100% myself, I might get professionals know how to cheer me up. I feel safe and secure with all my care professionals at all times, especially when they're looking after my personal care needs.Even though they are charging a lot of money, I still get the highest level of care that I receive. I really do enjoy when the management coming to my house and have a chat to see how everything is going.
It's totally transformed and improved her care and life beyond measure.
Mum's carers often go above and beyond and several have formed real friendships with her in listening to her wishes and taking her out for little local trips in her wheelchair when the weather's good. That's so important to my mum too.
Everyone turns up on time and the rota and visit notes are clearly accessible to me and my brother so we can be involved in what happens. If anything occasionally goes wrong then we also know about it quickly as does my mum. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Home Instead to anyone wanting personalised and reliable care for their loved one.
Thank you so much. You all have made such a big positive difference
We've used Home Instead S.Yorks for nearly 20 years and I am SO grateful to the team for their support, understanding and dedication.
The Caregivers we've had have been extremely well matched to my Aunt 99% of the time. The office staff, some of whom we've been working with for over a decade, have been a great support.
Some of the things we really value from her Caregiver's are their:
* ability to apply common sense to various situations
* suggestions for solutions to problems
* wish to make sure each visit enjoyable
We really value their support, life would have been infinitely harder without the Home Instead team to help us out.
Sarah,Amanda and the HQ team also work hard to make our lives as easy as possible. They are great and I really appreciate their support.
All the carers are very professional and work in accordence with the Lympoedema training they have received.
My legs have improved extremely well since they have been looking after me. Before their attendance when I was trying to look after my own limbs, I had repeated outbreaks of celluitis and hospital addmisions. I am touching wood as I write this, but hopefully this is becoming a thing of th past.
Expensive but worth every penny.
The ladies also cheer me up especially when the joint pain is bad. I hope they all enjoy the "Singalong with Alan Sessions ".
My dad has received support from home instead for the past 12 months and we cannot fault the care and attention of the staff. Even when there are occasional issues that need to be attended to the response is quick and efficient and I am very confident in my dad's needs being met
I can't speak too highly of the excellent support Home Instead has given my mother over the past four years. We've been gradually increasing the amount of hours, and therefore the number of people coming in, as mother's needs have changed, and we've found everybody we've dealt with friendly, supportive, caring and helpful. Nothing's ever a problem - or rather, it's 'just' a problem, which can always be solved with the minimum of fuss. The admin support from the office staff is just as good as the visiting care professionals. Highly recommended in all respects!
We have found the care given to be consistently excellent. Both carers are very helpful and observant. Both have become good friends with my mother. "They just do that bit extra" - a quote from my mother.
My parents were reluctant to accept support but the carers and management team have all managed to make this an easy transition for them, they now consider their carers as part of the family. My specifications for matching individuals and care needs for my parents were evidently taken into account and I couldn't have recruited any better myself. Staff are all very caring and have gone above and beyond their role to support my parents, e.g. remaining with them beyond allocated time if there are issues or problems with health. I don't have any reservations regarding my parents vulnerability and carers visiting them at home when I am not present. Continuity of support has been excellent and they continued to provide support in adverse weather conditions The documentation and feedback is excellent, we feel informed and response to any queries or suggestion is immediate. Management is always easily contactable and one feels that they all take pride in the excellent service they deliver.
Home Instead has been visiting my dad for the past four years, following his hip replacement surgery which coincided with a decline in his dementia. He has always been adamant he wants to live in his house for as long as possible and he is fiercely independent. Neither myself nor my sister lives close by, so the visits from caregivers three times a day ensure that Dad is well looked after. Home Instead have kept on top of his prescriptions, his shopping, his washing and his cleaning. They also ensure his elderly cat is fed and have gone above and beyond in taking him to the barbers and helping him keep up his pub visits with his friends. Without this excellent level of care, Dad would have had to go into a care home. He is not always the easiest of people to care for, but his 'health visitors' (as he calls them) have him worked out and know how best to deal with him, often with more patience than we have! Care is not cheap, but we couldn't do without it, and would highly recommend it.
We have found all the carers to be very kind and helpful. They help my husband and also myself.
This service has recently given me consistently for my father which has greatly been appreciated. He has advanced Dementia and advanced Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). I work and look after my father and children in my home.
It is certainly expensive for a service of this nature but worth the extra money for the quality of care.
I have been a client since 2016. The service has been excellent and very reliable. I have no complaints at all.
We are grateful for the support of carers who have enabled my friend to remain in his own home for some time.
We are also appreciative that the carers treat him with dignity and kindness.
All the care professionals are thorough, friendly and good company. They are great to chat with whilst helping me.
It was ok.
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We value all opinions and strive to continually improve our services. We're truly sorry to hear about your less-than-positive experience with our services. We understand the importance of providing exceptional value for money while delivering...
The carers have been very supportive of Mum and she really enjoys their visits. It is reassuring that if a new carer comes to do the visit someone from the team comes to introduce them first. The consistency of carers is very good. They are always happy to take her out shopping or for a coffee, which she really enjoys.
I have found that the standard of care and communication with all Home Instead employees has always been excellent. They have been flexible, very supportive and very caring. They always have a very friendly approach and provide a person-centred service.
All my mum's usual carers know her needs and are very helpful whenever Mum needs that little bit of extra care and understanding when she's not feeling too good. She enjoys the conversations they have and looks forward to them visiting. They will also do little jobs without Mum having to ask, such as folding up the dry clothes, hovering up or mopping the kitchen floor.
