The Caring Company provides a home care service that supports people living in the Didcot area of Oxfordshire, promoting independence and to assisting them to remain living in their own homes.

They offer a range of flexible services that can be personalised to each client's needs, either on a long or short-term basis.

The Company recognises that often care needs are identified by relatives, so works with everyone involved to ensure an acceptable care plan is established and successfully implemented, ensuring the individual's needs are recognised and allowing for a safe level of independence as required.

Care workers are encouraged to engage with clients to ensure the care is appropriate to each client's changing personal needs, therefore supporting clients and their families.

The Caring Company cared for my mum for almost two years. The service they provided was excellent, respectful and kind. My mum looked forward to seeing them. They were also so helpful and supportive to me, easy to talk to and nothing was ever too much trouble. I can't thank them enough for all they

The personality of both client and carer is so variable, but when the two match, it is preferable that they continue together, if possible. But of course, the client must accept other carers (holidays, change of work rota). A good carer can be someone who understands the client, as a family member would.

For several years I have had a rare neurological condition called Cerebellar Ataxia and am now unable to do anything for myself. I have carers 3 times a day to deal with my personal care and to get me from y bed in the morning to my armchair and commode when necessary and back into bed in the evening,
they use a hoist to help with this. The carers are very helpful and willing to understand and deal with my condition, which was initially new to them, they take on board advice from OTs and treat me with care and respect.

All the carers do that little bit extra when needed. They communicate well and really care about your wellbeing. The office provides immediate response to any extra help when needed and are very affable. They have provided care for me over the past four years.

The caring company has been a lifesaver and have been involved with my brother for the last 3.5 years. We have been able to talk together and adjust his needs as we went along. For the last year, they have visited my brother four times a day, breakfast, lunch, tea and bedtime and shopped for him, all

When I hear moans from others about impunctual carers, I consider myself very lucky. The management have ensured that their carers support me on time and with a real caring, cheery attitude. They have also gone out of their way to cover when I have had awkward medical appointments. Top marks.

Since using The Caring Company, we have noticed that he is very comfortable with all carers who visit. They do an excellent job and always interact with him, even though he struggles to speak at times. They are also very friendly and chatty with his wife, which is lovely. Every visit they make, they
always ask if there is anything else they can do before leaving. They attend each visit on time or as close to the booked time as possible, which is important for him as he can get anxious. I would recommend The Caring Company to anyone looking for a care package for a loved one.

When Mum was discharged from the NHS Team following her stroke last year, she was offered the same service, though the care from Social Services wouldn’t have suited her or met her needs, so it was time to look for alternatives. We chose the Caring Company and have never regretted the decision. During
COVID restarted times, from the initial phone calls and discussing with the office team what Mum’s needs were, her state of health and her abilities, plus her needs, through to the agreed team visits arranged, everything has been smooth, friendly and the team of carers are excellent. Mum is very happy and has help with preparing an evening meal, whilst that is cooking, they often help her get the laundry on or help her with having a shower. Being able to choose the time of her visit in the evening was very important to her, keeping her in her own home being the number 1 priority. She also didn’t want to have to eat too early or go to bed too late. The Caring Company are excellent.

The Caring Company has provided a 5-star service for my mother. The ladies are caring, helpful and compassionate. They are friends as well as companions and carers. I cannot find any fault. They turn up on time. They are always bright and friendly, just what every person needs first thing in the morning. They never talk about other clients and they are all super. Well done Caring Company.
