Thanks to Bluebird Care for the service provided in caring for a relative. From the initial contact with the office, who was empathetic, friendly and understanding, through to the 2 carers who were kind, caring and helpful, I have nothing but heartfelt thanks and appreciation for all they did and continue to do. My relative was extremely happy. I would highly recommend this agency
Thank you so much. We are extremely grateful for your kind words which will be passed on to the team. With kindest regards Emma
The service as always been frist class from Respite to now private we as a family are all happy the staff are all so helpful which makes our lives a lot easier so thank you bluebird care and keep up the great work
Thank you very much indeed for taking the time to leave such a wonderful review and we will ensure your comments are passed on to the team
My very disabled brother was admitted as an emergency to hospital on a Sunday afternoon. I called Bluebird Care on the Sunday and it was a very stressful time for me. They called me straight back, and arranged carers immediately to sit with my brother 24/7 so that he could receive the care he required on a very busy NHS ward. He made a full recovery but was in hospital for 17 days. Knowing that we were supported as a family by Bluebird Care provided us with great reassurance during a terribly difficult period of time. The carers were wonderful and of a very high standard. Excellent service and care all round.
Thank you very much, indeed, for taking the time to write us a review. We are all very grateful to you and happy that we have exceeded expectations. We will make sure that your words are shared with everyone involved in your brother's care and support. With kindest regards
Bluebird carers have looked after my 90+ year old father for the past 4 years and ended this August when failing eye sight meant he could no longer stay at home. Emma, the Customer Service Manager, has been very supportive during this very difficult period, the office team have been brilliant, adjusting the carers' visiting rota to fit in with his numerous hospital appointments and adjusting the billing correctly. The carers have been wonderful with my father, always walking in the door with a smile and a cheerful manner. They have looked after him with care and understanding of his needs, taking the changes to his care needs in their stride. Communicating with Bluebird has been easy. The phone is answered courteously and promptly, calls returned quickly. The family have been very impressed by the whole team.
Thank you very very much for your wonderful review. I know the whole team will be thrilled to read your kind words and we will ensure they are conveyed to everyone involved. With our kindest regards.
I arranged short term care for my mum who has dementia. The carer was lovely and my mum had an instant bond. The manager was very professional with our needs. I will definitely ask Bluebird care for any help that we will need in the future. Would definitely recommend Bluebird for care. Thank you again for helping.
Thank you very much indeed for your wonderful review. Comments such as yours are always guaranteed to put smiles on the faces of the whole team and we are so happy to be of help. With kindest regards.
I found it all a very positive experience, from the help I received from the office and my two carers, who were always punctual and could not have been more helpful and caring. They helped me wash and get dressed and then sometimes prepared meals or ironed or did anything I needed. I could not recommend them more and should I need help again in the future this would be the first place I would call.
Thank you so much. We are extremely grateful for your kind words which will be passed on to the team. With kindest regards
From the 1st time I met the care supervisor, I've felt supported by the whole team at Bluebird
And can truly say they are one of the best!
They're professional and personable, and are there to help with all your needs!
Thank you for your consistency and support.
Thank you very much, indeed, for taking the time to write us a review. We will make sure that your words are shared with everyone involved in your mum's care and support. With kindest regards.
All 3 of Bluebird's live in carers have provided exemplary care to Mum throughout the gradual progressive decline caused by this condition and have built up a great rapport with Mum, as have Bluebird's visiting carers too when we've had them. I couldn't be happier with the exemplary standard of care and crucial emotional support provided to Mum through her difficult illness and to me as her registered carer.
Having Bluebird around takes the pressure off me and has enabled me to continue working to pay the bills, and to sort out all the crucial power of attorney issues for Mum. I can't recommend Bluebird enough as a care agency
Thank you very much for taking the time to leave us such a wonderful review. It is a privilege to support your mum, I will pass your thanks on to all of the carers involved in her support With kindest regards Emma
Throughout, I have found them to be completely reliable and well-organised.
I have two regular carers who were introduced to me beforehand and I am extremely satisfied with the service.
The carers are always prompt, friendly and highly professional and clearly take pleasure and pride in their work.
A third carer was needed just for a few days because of rota issues. I was fully informed and she shadowed a regular carer and it worked well.
Dealing with the regional office - the customer services manager and her team - is easy, straightforward and friendly.
In summary, I would want to say - really nice people doing a really good job.
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us such a wonderful review. It is very much appreciated by the team. I will ensure that your comments are passed to everyone involved in your care. With kindest regards.
I have used Bluebird Care Wandsworth to provide personal care for two months. The service has been excellent, professional and reliable. The main care is provided by a former nurse and when she went on leave there was a good handover to her temporary replacement and the same standards maintained.
Thank you very much, indeed, for taking the time to write us a review. We will make sure that your words are shared with everyone involved in your care and support. With kindest regards.
My grandfather has Alzheimer's and Bluebird Care took over his care through direct payment after previously having issues with another provider. From the very beginning, they have been extremely knowledgeable, helpful and compassionate whilst maintaining a high level of professionalism. My grandfather was extremely nervous about having carers in since his previous experiences with a council contracted provider, Bluebird Care were a complete breath of fresh air. They look after his meals, medication and domestics, the two carers have built up such a rapport with him that he looks forward to their company. They go beyond what is expected of them and forward on any ideas to improve things or concerns. During Alzheimer's "episodes" and in the stresses of dealing with him on these occasions, the carers and the team have remained calm, understanding and communicative. We are so happy and relieved to have such a great team helping my grandfather.
Dear Avinash, thank you so much for taking the time to leave us such a wonderful review. It is very much appreciated by all of us. I will ensure that your comments are passed to everyone involved in your lovely grandfather's care. With kindest regards.
Bluebird has provided my mother with a speedy service exactly when it was required. She has a team of carers attending to her needs and each carer is warm and caring and so kind to my mother. All are also good-humoured and beautiful people. They are dedicated to their job but provide a service that is more than just a job! I could not recommend them more highly.
Thank you very much indeed for your wonderful review. We appreciate it very much and I will ensure that your comments are passed to everyone involved in your mother's care. With kindest regards.
They are very professional about what they do, both in the care they give directly to my uncle but also in keeping us informed and up to date on how he is doing and what other things might be helpful for him. If I have questions of my own, I always get a prompt response from the local care manager or from the office.
Their professionalism has allowed me to feel confident that my uncle is being well looked after so I no longer have to worry about him all the time.
I would be very happy to recommend Bluebird Care to others.
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us such a lovely review. I will ensure your comments are passed on to everyone involved in your uncle's care. With kind regards.
Bluebird Care could not have been more brilliant with my mum who is a 76-year-old with dementia. From the office staff to the carer in question, my mum and I were absolutely delighted with their kindness, care and good humour. Sadly, we have had to terminate our contract with Bluebird as my mum's needs have become too great to manage at home and she has opted to move to a care home. I would not hesitate in recommending Bluebird to friends and family.
Thank you very very much for taking the time to leave us such a wonderful review. It was a privilege to support your mum and we all wish her well in her new home. With kindest regards.
When we first arranged care for our friend, I was impressed by the thoroughness of the care manager and the professionalism with which she approached our friend's needs. Throughout the time, since care was started, the care manager has been consistently helpful and approachable. Our friend has also been very positive in her comments about the carers who came to her home.
Thank you very much, indeed, for taking the time to write us a review. We are all very grateful to you and happy that we have exceeded expectations. We will make sure that your words are shared with everyone involved in your friend's care and support. With kindest regards.
Mum started needing care from August 2023 because of Dementia and Alzheimers Disease. Bluebird rose to the job and provided excellent care for her, personal and otherwise until she went into hospital at the end of March 2024. She very much enjoyed the company of and chatting to her friendly carers and, in the main, responded to their kindness. I know Mum had her 'off days' when she could be a challenge but her carers managed her compassionately and with dignity.
We really appreciate you taking the time and trouble to leave us such a lovely review. It is very much appreciated by all of us. It was a privilege to support your mum and to be able to give you some peace of mind. With our kindest regards.
They are an excellent company.
The carers were very friendly, put my father at ease, punctual and good at their jobs.
The office staff were also great and were always willing to help.
All in all I cannot recommend Bluebird enough.
Thank you very much indeed for taking the time and trouble to leave us such a lovely review. It is greatly appreciated by all of us and I will ensure your comments are shared with everyone involved in your father's care. With kindest regards.
The carers themselves were magnificent, helpful, cheerful, compassionate and had the ability to coax her into eating and drinking where we could not. They managed her wonderfully until she reached the end.
We thoroughly recommend them.
We are both Medical Professionals.
All of us at Bluebird Care are grateful to you for your kind words. It was a privilege to support your mum and we are so happy that we were able to be there when you all needed us. With our very best regards.
My husband and I have received excellent care throughout. Skilful, sympathetic and conscientious always, delivered with good humour. We think we are very lucky. Care for myself includes personal hygiene, providing well-planned meals -including shopping and assistance for physio exercise. My husband has mild dementia and tends to wander and needs a good deal of shepherding to get washed and dressed, getting to bed etc. Our carer does this patiently and has built up an excellent rapport with him.
Thank you so much for taking the time and trouble to leave us such a wonderful review. It is very much appreciated by all of us. With kind regards.
Bluebird Care was of critical help when bridging the gap between social services-approved care for our uncle and the date it actually started (two months later) as we were also out of the country and his only family. We were completely assured knowing they were the only people in contact with Uncle as their care, compassion and professionalism were beyond our hopes and expectations. They were the only care provider recommended by his GP as none of her patients has a bad word to say about them (apparently it doesn't get better than that!) We are now continuing to use them for his social services care allowance and are more than happy to top up each week to know he is getting the best care.
Thank you very much indeed for taking the time and trouble to leave us such a wonderful review. Your words are greatly appreciated by all of us and I will ensure they are conveyed to everyone involved in your uncle's care. With kindest regards from all of us.

Meet the Team (8)
Like many people, I switched my career to Health & Social Care after a member of my family had a very poor experience. In this case, it was my grandparent who was in a care home. My initial career started in solar energy design back home in Yorkshire, but now I couldn't imagine working in any other sector.
I moved to London with my partner and joined a small complex care company initially as a Field Care Supervisor and then Area Care Manager. By studying independently at the same time, I ultimately achieved my goal to become a Registered Care Manager.
I feel lucky to have supported the people we care for across all levels, from delivering care myself to operational management. This has given me a huge insight and appreciation for the hard work our carers carry out on a daily basis, and the support our customers need to remain comfortable and safe in their own homes.
It’s a privilege to lead such a successful and dedicated team and to share in our fantastic reputation for care as it should be.
As a mum to two young daughters, I initially joined the team as a part-time administrator. Over time, I progressed into the role of Head of Recruitment, growing alongside this family company as my own girls grew up. Today, I’m proud to be the full-time Business Manager and Director.
I remain closely involved with our wonderful carers—many of whom have been with us for years—and I love seeing the individual journeys they take from the day they start working with us.
I’m amusually the first point of contact for people enquiring about our services, a role I take incredibly seriously. I was once in that same position myself, unsure where to start and needing help for my own mum. I know just how daunting and confusing the process can feel.
Because of that experience, it’s deeply important to me that no one feels as overwhelmed as I once did. I’m committed to offering the very best advice and support I can.
It’s truly a privilege to do what I do.
My interest in care began at school, where I studied Health and Social Care. After continuing on to college and completing my NVQs, I began working in a care home. It didn’t take long to realise that working with people in a care home wasn’t for me – they should be in their own homes.
My great-grandmother, unfortunately, had a bad experience with care, and this made me want to prove that not all care is of a poor standard. I began working as a carer for Bluebird Care and worked my way up.
I certainly feel I am fulfilling my ambition. I am really proud of the work that we all do here, and we are most certainly proving to people that high-quality care is out there.
I'm now Customer Services Manager. It’s hugely rewarding to make such a difference to others. I truly enjoy my work and am thankful to Bluebird Care for allowing me to do what I love.
Started as a carer in 2019.
I had worked in retail for some years when my son had an accident and needed my help, and that was when I realised I'd been in the wrong profession all along!
I have been with Bluebird Care for some years now, and initially started as a Carer and then worked my way up. Making a difference in someone's life is just so rewarding, and you get to meet the most interesting and wonderful characters. It's all about people, which I love.
As Care Supervisor, I lead our Bluebird Care rapid response Home from Hospital discharge service, working with the CCG (Clinical Commissioning Group). I go out and assess the needs of the person leaving the hospital and ensure everything is ready for them to come home and start their road to recovery with us. I love it!
This part of my work as a Care Supervisor is all about teamwork with my beautiful Bluebird Care family.
Organisation is always challenging, but every day is different.
Just to know I can make someone happy by getting them back into their own environment and see them with a smile on their face means I have done my job well.
Seeing the difference we make to people - seeing the change in their faces when we look after them and give them what they need, reassuring them.
It’s a privilege to be able to contribute towards supporting people to stay in their own homes, staying where they want to be.
It’s my life, I love what I do!
Susan manages and supports care workers, ensuring high-quality, person-centred care delivery in the community by conducting assessments, providing in-the-moment training/supervision (like inductions, appraisals, mentoring), and ensuring compliance with standards, blending field visits with care duties to bridge communication and quality between management and carers.
Working for Bluebird Care, I realised immediately that looking for Care Assistants was a much more personal experience than I had had before in my career.
While I am familiar with the reality of having someone you love looking after by less than committed strangers, I now have the opportunity to make a difference in this for other people.
Becoming a Care Assistant is not something that only training can create. Finding the wonderful people who have the natural warmth, empathy and initiative to provide the support, encouragement and care that makes the difference to each individual, is challenging and intense.
I am usually the first contact, and so I get to know every carer who comes to us individually. Our Care Manager conducts the second interview, and then each successful person is invited to join us to train as if we were choosing someone personally important to us.
I support the new carers during training and watch them become respected and vital members of our team. Training is ongoing, and most visit the office often, sometimes for updates and sometimes just to chat in the warm, friendly atmosphere of the office.
It gives me an enormous boost that I have a part to play in enabling people to remain at home in familiar surroundings in a dignified way. That the ladies and gentlemen that I first chatted to by phone, email and at recruitment events are making such a difference to so many people’s lives.
Outside of work, I’m a busy wife and mum, spending much of my time supporting my two beautiful daughters with their sport, dancing and singing. My own interests include travelling, dancing, listening to music, reading and cooking!
I love being around family and friends, and I include my work colleagues in that! I feel very lucky; I have a wonderful family and a great job.
