Farecare looked after my late Mum and has continued to look after my Dad over the past four years. The kindness of all staff is second to none, and Dad has built strong relationships with the caring team. I cannot recommend Farecare highly enough.

I can not praise the staff that visit my uncle highly enough, they are very caring and look after him with kindness and understanding as he can be a little difficult at times. They will get shopping for him if he needs anything, also his weekly papers and have also taken him to appointments if I cannot be there. He likes all the team of ladies that look after him and from not wanting carers he would now not be without them. Can highly recommend Fare Care.

When my Mum was terminally ill, The Stroud manager and her team from Farecare were there for her in her final weeks. They went above and beyond to provide Mum with all the care she needed and ensured she was as comfortable as possible. I felt confident that Mum was in safe hands when I was not there.
They also supported me and my family. The help they provided - practically, physically, emotionally and mentally was invaluable. Nothing was too much trouble, no question was left unanswered, and no request was ignored. I am forever grateful to the team for their amazing work and unlimited dedication.
Losing Mum was such a painful experience. Thank you for holding my hand in so many ways during that time. And thank you for helping Mum, keeping her comfortable, listening to her, and caring for her in such a compassionate and considerate way.

Farecare has been looking after my husband for a very long time now and has always a lovely, happy and cheerful group of ladies, very professional in their caring roles. Nothing is too much trouble for them, and they 'go that extra mile’ in finding the answers to any questions we may have. They are more than willing to help us in any way possible. We always receive a text message if they have been delayed, keeping us informed of when they will be with us, therefore, saving us any worry. They are totally reliable and always let us know of any concerns about my husband. There is never any problem if we ask for an extra visit, or if we need an overnight stay. They are so kind and always ask, not only if my husband is OK when they arrive, but also if I am, too. So caring. They really do keep our spirits up and almost feel like one of the family. We wouldn’t want to be without them as they have made our lives so much easier and more comfortable. We can’t praise them enough.

The Stroud Branch of Farecare came into our lives after my Grandmother had had a fall. Although she was 102, she had full capacity but her body was failing her. The Ladies arrived and for the very first time, in a long time, my Grandmother was treated as a complete person again. She was spoken to first, made every decision, she was respected in her own home and treated with dignity. They got to know my Nan in such a short space of time that even I was surprised! We have had other care companies previously but these people really do care! In less than a month they all became friends, in less than 2 they felt like family.
When it became evident that my Grandmother was close to passing the whole team was respectful to us and knew my Nan well enough to be respectful of her wishes too. I really don’t know how we would have gotten through such a difficult period without their guidance. I truly believe that Farecare were angels sent to us when we needed them most.

I couldn't be happier with the service from Farecare. The ladies text me to let me know my Dad is okay and they always turn up when they are supposed to. I've heard stories of carers from other companies who don't show up but I've never had that experience with Farecare. I can rely on them 100% and my Dad really enjoys seeing them.

Mum has been a client of Farecare for almost a year. During this time she has always been treated fairly, kindly and with dignity. The staff are always very caring and keep me informed of any worries they may have regarding Mum. They are very willing to help in any way they can, including doing a Lateral Flow test for Covid for her after I had tested positive last autumn. Mum herself had Covid earlier this month, the carer was concerned for her health and conducted a Lateral Flow Test for her. They have continued to do their normal visits for which I was very grateful. We have changed the visits a few times over the year for various reasons which have been accepted and acted upon immediately by the office staff without question. There have been a few mistakes by the carers which after having been reported to the manager and her staff were able to rectify. The staff are all approachable, kind and caring. I’m happy to recommend Farecare’s services.

Farecare have always been supportive in their management and care for my mum. The carers are friendly but respectful to my mum and she is very happy with the care she receives.
They have recently increased her package in line with her requirements and have also agreed to a cleaning package. The only reason the mark is not excellent is because they can sometimes be slow at responding to emails but this is because of staffing and being extremely busy. But I have found the admin staff to be supportive too so it’s not an issue. All in all, I would recommend Farecare.
