Home Instead have been providing morning and evening care for our Mum for several months now and it has given us a great deal of peace of mind. Although the carers are there to tend to her needs, they always find time to chat with her and Mum enjoys this additional company. Over the last month in particular, my brother and I have been unavailable to help with some of Mum's appointments and Home Instead have been able to step in to help at short notice. This obviously helped Mum but was an enormous help to us as well.

I first contacted the company with regards to having home help for my father enabling him to still retain some independence at home without the worry of completing everyday household tasks. The initial contact was prompt and informative and this has continued to be the case throughout the process of setting up visits. The carers are very good and reliable and the office staff answer queries promptly. There are no hidden costs. All is explained clearly.

The team have helped me and my husband care for my mum and dad in our home. They seemed to know what we needed after our first visit and matched us with a fantastic care professional who really clicked with my mum and dad. She understood what we were all going through emotionally as well as the support needed: personal care and outings. As we needed more support, a second care professional came to help us. My mum and dad especially appreciated her massaging skills on their dry skin. Both are incredibly caring and gentle. During a particularly difficult time, the supervisor and care professional really understood our feelings and helped us all. We have appreciated all the people who made up the team: the care professionals, supervisors and administration staff. They have always been efficient as well as sharing their individual talents and skills to provide support. Thank you so much to the team, I would highly recommend them.

Care was provided between 2019 to August 2024.
The care professionals were matched well to meet both our parents' needs, preferences etc doing their jobs to a high standard of care in a kind and friendly way.
Any issues arising were dealt with promptly with good communication both to Dad and our family. There was always a prompt response to any change in care needs and we always felt care was person-centered.
Some staff really went above and beyond!

I would recommend Home Instead, most highly for the attention I have received since the initial phone call. I was first visited by a manager to assess my needs and provide me with an appropriate carer. This was completed in a very relaxed and friendly manner. The person who has looked after me each week I consider is more a friend than a carer during the time she is with me. One particular morning I wasn't well and she really took charge. The outcome of that was that I needed four days in hospital to recover from a chest infection. Management runs a check on a regular basis, including a monitoring visit to assess the care being administered and an observation session to see this in action. I feel very comfortable with this system, and therefore, would not hesitate to suggest them as a wonderful organisation.
We are so pleased that our care professional knew you well enough to understand how unwell you were at that time. It's at times like that, that our confidence in our ethos of consistent regular care professional grows, and we are all the more passionate that matched care professionals who visit...
Dear team, from all of the family we would like to say thank you for your commitment, dedication, kindness and compassion in caring for my grandad from around 2020 until now. Every team member was introduced and we had a personable care plan, a great team of carers and a management team who checked in and all supported a family-centered care approach which we really valued. From the good morning smile to the friendly check in how are you and talking of life experiences and adventures with Grandad showed his life was valued. You got to know us and that meant we felt included, sharing and delivering best care at home together. Towards the end of Grandad's care journey when we moved into end-of-life care and NHS care teams stepped in to support us too, you still showed up with a friendly face, a known voice, you comforted all of us, held hands and was present and for this, we are forever grateful and I know grandad would have known you were there, thank you, so highly recommended for anyone.

My Mother has been receiving care from Home Instead for the last 3 years. Recently she has had to be moved to a Nursing Home and I would like to express my, and my family's appreciation for the excellent service they provided for my Mother while under their care. I live in London and visited my Mother weekly when I could. Given this, Home Instead provided me with regular updates on her progress, replied promptly and kindly to my queries, and went out of their way to provide advice and support at the difficult time when it became necessary for the Mother's move to the Nursing Home. Most importantly, the carers were wonderful, kind, and patient, particularly during the initial period when Mother was getting used to having to accept care which could be rather difficult at times. I cannot thank them enough for how they developed a caring relationship with my Mother and how invaluable their advice and support have been to us. For all of these reasons, I cannot recommend highly enough.

We have used Home Instead for over twelve months for additional support for our mom since our dad passed away eighteen months ago. She has eagerly looked forward to her three weekly visits from two very caring and professional ladies. They have assisted in cleaning and supported Mom with her love of gardening but most of all, they have provided companionship and a friendly ear. Communication has always been excellent and we would definitely recommend this service to anyone looking for cleaning help and friendship within their own home.

Sally has worked within care for 15 years and is very passionate about delivering the highest of standards, giving clients choice and control and creating an aspirational role for Care Professionals.
Carol has over 40 years of experience in finance and administration and her role is to support the business, manage the office team and ensure that efficient and effective systems are in place on a day-to-day basis.
Charlotte has 17 years of experience in the care profession. Her passion and speciality are supporting clients experiencing Dementia.
Charlotte was promoted to Care Manager in September 2025, after several years as a Field Care Supervisor.
Her role is to work with clients and their families, providing tailored care around their needs and wishes, enabling them to remain at home.
Sam has worked within care since the age of 18, she supports clients during their initial enquiry and will visit families in their homes to discuss and facilitate an individual's requirements ensuring that we provide a person-centred bespoke care package for all our clients.
Carrie is responsible for marketing-related activities by supporting the development and execution of the company's marketing and branding strategies.
Esther is a qualified accountant, and following many years of working in business, she decided to move to the care sector. She is also a qualified Love to Move instructor and helps with community projects.
Jacquie is responsible for supporting and engaging our care professionals through their Home Instead journey. She does this by ensuring compliance, and that they are happy in their role.
Gill is our senior care professional, and part of her role involves completing support visits to ensure compliance. She also helps to support Jacquie with the facilitation of Fab Friday Friends.
Donna brings a wealth of experience to our team. She is a qualified Primary School teacher, and decided to make a change in her career by getting into recruitment in 2018. Working in this sector at Avon Cosmetics, Donna was a top recruiter for 3 years running.
Janis works out in the community to help build relationships and engage with those organisations that may benefit from the services we provide.
