After a fall, time in hospital & 2 months in a care home, Mum was 6 stone, very withdrawn, in pain & extremely unhappy. The Bloomfields Care team literally saved her (& me!). Over the last 2 years, Mum has been provided with superb live-in care & she has genuinely thrived. Her main carer is exceptional - anticipating her needs, calmly providing positive support & a routine. When her carer has a week off, it's clear that there's good communication with her replacement to retain this continuity of care. It's great when we visit as everything is really well organised, the house is spotless and they have clearly become friends. There's lots of laughter, outings to the local church, lunch club & a home group. Seeing Mum so happy & well looked after means I can relax & stop worrying. Such a relief - especially as it's a 4-hour round trip!
Bloomfields is an absolutely AMAZING care provider, with experienced managers and an extremely well-trained team of genuine carers.

After the initial home visit we decided to move forward with them. They listened to our concerns from previous care companies, and taking into account the level of care outlined in the care assessment, they supplied 2 really lovely full time live-in carers. We couldn't be more pleased and would thoroughly recommend them to care for your loved ones. It's given us as a family, total peace of mind knowing all his needs are met 24/7.

We have had the Bloomfield team helping us to care for our mum at home for over a year now. They have been so supportive and helpful to both my mum, myself and sister. The team have provided regular named carers at set times to help keep a routine for mum. They treat her with care, respect and understanding, keeping us informed if they notice anything out of "mums ordinary". They have helped us with information and questions to ask when dealing with social services when mum went into hospital and needed a plan for coming home again. They are a wonderful, personal and friendly team.
I would highly recommend Bloomfield.

My friend had just been released from a month's hospitalisation. He wasn't very mobile and had dementia. The live-in care provided by Bloomfield and the allround attention to my friend's condition was excellent. When he declined they showed how professional they were in an emergency.

Before Bloomfield, I could not consider going away on holiday as would worry too much about Mum, but I can now do that and know she is in safe hands and will be looked after. They even help look after Mum's dog. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Everyone is professional and kind and flexible, very satisfied with the service. We’re very satisfied with everything. Helping with both parents in the household. I feel they are very well taken care of when I am not around.

What an amazing company, the staff are amazing and the manager is excellent, she has gone above and beyond to help our friend out and put a care package together. The previous care provider was via social services, who were absolutely dreadful, finding Bloomfield Care was, without a doubt, the best decision, our friend is very happy with the care and the staff are all caring and go that extra mile to make him comfortable and happy.
Highly recommend this service, you would not be disappointed.

My working life started as a part-time trolley collector for a big American Retailer, and 15 years later after a brief spell in Australia, I was running my own store. The experience of retail then took me to the position of Managing Director for an ethical retail chain in Bristol with a focus on Organic and high-welfare products.
The big change came when, with the support of my wife we invested in a Wiltshire Farm Foods franchise, which we managed for a couple of years.
Starting Bloomfield Care with Helen Blunden has been the most rewarding experience of all, learning all that goes into providing exceptional Care. We are very proud of the approach we take, and our understanding of the partnerships between us and our clients.
When I am not working, I fill in as a taxi driver for our very busy children, with the 2 boys fully involved with Wimborne Rugby Club and our little girl wanting to go riding every spare minute.

I started my journey in care over 14 years ago when I took a job as a carer, originally thinking it would simply be a part-time role around my husband and children. Very quickly, I realised how rewarding the work was, and it soon became a career I truly love.
