Having grown up in Watford living on a working farm, I now live and work in Dorset, and what a lovely county Dorset is. Our young family love the great natural spaces and amazing coastline that is on our doorstep.

My working life started as a part-time trolley collector for a big American Retailer, and 15 years later after a brief spell in Australia, I was running my own store. The experience of retail then took me to the position of Managing Director for an ethical retail chain in Bristol with a focus on Organic and high-welfare products.

The big change came when, with the support of my wife we invested in a Wiltshire Farm Foods franchise, which we managed for a couple of years.

Starting Bloomfield Care with Helen Blunden has been the most rewarding experience of all, learning all that goes into providing exceptional Care. We are very proud of the approach we take, and our understanding of the partnerships between us and our clients.

When I am not working, I fill in as a taxi driver for our very busy children, with the 2 boys fully involved with Wimborne Rugby Club and our little girl wanting to go riding every spare minute.

My name is Helen, I have 4 children and 3 Grandchildren. I have worked in various sectors of the care industry. Throughout my career I have taken on the role of an NVQ Assessor, Deputy manager both in residential settings and within the community as well as a care trainer.

I feel each of my roles has enabled me to develop the skills, knowledge and experience to lead me where I am today, which is passionate and dedicated in delivering a high service to our clients whilst empowering our staff to achieve their own goals and ambitions.

If you speak to those who know me personally and professionally, they will say I am kind, fair, compassionate, and approachable. My motto is everything seems better discussed over coffee and cake!

With over 16 years of experience in the care industry, I’ve had the privilege of working across a variety of sectors—from running a domiciliary care agency to serving as a Registered Manager and business owner. Each role has deepened my passion for delivering high-quality, compassionate care.

I chose to join Bloomfield because of their strong ethos and reputation for putting people at the heart of everything they do. Their commitment to person-centred care, dignity, and respect perfectly aligns with my own values and approach to supporting others.

Outside of work, I live with my husband, with whom I've shared over 20 wonderful years. We love holidaying in the sun, but my true happy place is Cornwall. There, I enjoy paddle boarding, slowing down with a good book, and soaking up the peace and natural beauty the coast has to offer.

My name is Eilish. I have worked in care now for several years in a variety of settings.

My first role in care was as a bank support worker in a respite centre for adults with learning disabilities. I worked for this company for nearly 13 years working my way up the ranks to manager. I then moved from here to work within the community, supporting people in their own homes. During this time I have worked with people who had mental health issues and end-of-life care.
I love the work that I do and I am passionate about ensuring people get the care they need and deserve in a person-centred way.

In my spare time, I spend time with my husband, our 2 girls and 2 dogs as well as seeing friends. I do like reading, movies and cake!!

Kim joined Bloomfield Care, bringing with her a wealth of experience in the healthcare industry. Her extensive background and expertise are invaluable in contributing to Bloomfield Care's commitment to providing exceptional care and service to those we serve.

I began my career in the care industry at the age of 18, starting in forensic mental health services as a Healthcare Assistant (HCA). Over the years, I transitioned into community-based settings, where I steadily advanced into leadership and management roles.

My ethos is rooted in a culture of care and compassion. I am dedicated to innovating and implementing person-centred approaches that ensure the delivery of high-quality care. My commitment to these principles drives me to continuously seek ways to improve the lives of those in my care.

Outside of work, I cherish spending time with my young family and husband. Another great passion of mine is horses, and I enjoy any opportunity to engage with them.

I have accumulated 14 years of experience in the care industry, working across a diverse range of sectors. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of supporting individuals in various capacities, each role allowing me to develop a comprehensive understanding of the unique needs and challenges within the sector. My passion for making a meaningful difference in the lives of those I support drives my dedication to providing compassionate, high-quality care. My name is Caroline I have been working in care for over 20 years. I have a level 3 NVQ in care and during my time I have had many different roles and cared for many different people with a variety of conditions.

I really enjoy the work that I do and I am really passionate about ensuring that people get the best care and support they need.

In my personal time, I like to spend time with my big family and enjoy spending time in the garden in the summer.

My name is Laura and I’ve been working in care for 4 years, and I have an NVQ level 2 in care. I started off my caring career supporting adults with mental health illnesses such as schizophrenia and brain injuries in a residential care home setting.

I fancied the new challenge of caring for clients out in the community.

I’m very passionate about the job I do ensuring all the people I care for are looked after in the way they deserve.

In my spare time, I enjoy spending my time with my partner, 2 boys and stepchildren. We enjoy holidays, meeting up with friends and supporting Oxford United. We also have 2 cats.
