We contacted Nadya the manager at bluebird care Burnley before Christmas as my mum was struggling with confusion and we suspected her MCI had developed into dementia. We had also just stopped her from driving and this meant she was unable to keep up her life as she is very active. We decided to get carers in for three mornings a week to help my mum with transport, shopping and digital communication, which she was finding impossibly. What is so brilliant about Bluebird care for me is that Nadya takes every individual in their own right and builds the care around them "they walk beside my mum" not in front (Nadya's words). Immediately she really liked Nadya and Abi and her carers Ru and Saria, as they were very professional, empathetic and warm but they also came with a huge smile and laughter. We have paused care now as my mum is on medication which has given her some independance back with her thinking, but we will definitely be using again when she begins to struggle again. Thank you

Overall Experience
Our dad lives a couple of hours away from us and on his own in his own home. It was important to us that he remained at home and retained as much independence as possible. Dad sadly now has reached a point where he needs a bit of help with meds and so on due to dementia symptoms & depression / anxiety. We found Bluebird this year and signed up with them after shortlisting a few providers.

What a relief! He is so much brighter with the care support. We know he's not messing up his meds. We know he has company for 90 mins a day. We know he is supported in checking his calendar for appointments. They help him to remember certain things. They make him nice breakfasts - he loves that bit! They liaise with his GP. He is a very proud man and he was skeptical about having people in his home but he got used to it straight away. The carers are incredibly lovely. They don't treat him like an 'old man'. They chat & they are respectful. We are very thankful and really pleased with the service.

Overall Experience

Both my father in law and mother in law have been clients of Bluebird Care (Burnley and Pendle) for the past 3 years and continue to extensively use their services on a daily basis. My wife and her siblings are very close to their parents and would not accept anything less than gold standard care for their Mum and Dad. The fact that they have found a care agency who not only meets but excels their high expectations is astonishing. As a family we are in their debt. Thank you Bluebird Care.

Bluebird care has given me peace of mind, I am now able to go to work knowing my mum is cared for, the carers have been very supportive & have provided my mum with exceptional care since they started. My mum has build a good relationship with the carers who alway go the extra mile. As a care agency the communication is always on point & I am always informed.

Bluebird Care Burnley have provided an exceptional service from start to finish to my Aunty. We initially started at a few hours a week but now a permanent customer. Communication has been clear and reassuring throughout, and every aspect of the care has been delivered with the highest level of professionalism and compassion. Manager is absolutely excellent. Office team privided clear structure and were kind, attentive, and genuinely passionate about supporting us. They go above and beyond to ensure comfort, dignity, and peace of mind at all times. I receive excellent care for my mother who needs a few visits a day due to being diagnosed with Parkinson's and needs help with washing and medication, all carers are lovely and attentive, they all go above and beyond, the management are exceptional and cannot fault them at all, I'm so grateful to have found a company who cares

I've been incredibly impressed with the standard of care provided. The team consistently goes above and beyond to ensure dignity, safety, and genuine compassion in every interaction. Communication has been outstanding - staff keep me fully informed, respond quickly to any queries, and always act with professionalism and kindness.
The carers are reliable, respectful, and clearly well-trained. They take time to understand individual needs, adapt their approach when required, and build real trust and rapport. It's clear they genuinely care about the people they support, not just the tasks they complete.

I find the carers who look after my husband & I are very courteous and always greet us with a smile. They are most helpful and eager to please. They are willing to do anything in order to help us.

I booked live in care to help me when my wife returned home to die of heart failure. It proved an excellent decision. The company were helpful and sensitive and the person they sent was an absolute star. I could not have coped in those last days without her brilliant support and she made my wife feel well loved and well cared for

Overall Experience

The care team took time to assess our elderly mothers needs and more than full filled her expectations and ours. They treated her with care and compassion taking time to get to know her and not only give her practical care but much appreciated social care as well. Any concerns were reported to family and addressed promptly. For the few months she was cared for she and family found it a positive experience and our thanks go to all.

We were very pleased with the care provided for my elderly mother. The care providers were friendly, kind and helpful. My mother was happy with her care. They visited twice a day at lunch and teatime and came at regular times each day. They also helped with the housework.

Overall Experience

Bluebird was recommended to me when my mother needed to return home after a short stay in a care home. Spaces were scarce and we had to wait a few weeks, but throughout this period, the management at Bluebird remained in regular contact with me. The care provided by the 'girls' is impressive, and nothing seems too much trouble. They have always been supportive and provide knowledgeable suggestions for care advice. The carers provide support for virtually everything, and if they can't, they know which professional service we should contact. Thank you so much for all your support.

A great team of people who visit my mum and dad. Very friendly, caring and always willing to take on various tasks during their allocated time. Mum and Dad have both built very good relationships with the staff that visit them and are very happy with the support they receive. The manager and the Bluebird team are very professional and caring, and I would recommend their services.

I cannot express in words adequately on how Bluebird Care has changed the quality of life for my Mother. Prior to arranging a care package with Bluebird my Mothers quality of life was declining rapidly and she seemed to be on a severe downward trend mentally and was losing weight.

Thankfully, with significant help from the Bluebird team,, my mothers health and quality of life really has improved. The whole family trust and appreciate the Bluebird team from the manager through to all carers they carefully provide. They are reliable and always turn up on the agreed times. As well as the standard carer duties, it is the little touches that really impress us. These include, taking my mother out on impromptu trips, drives out or dealing with medication discrepancies with the local pharmacy. I cannot thank them enough.

I was looking into private care for my elderly parents, predominantly for my father but also to provide support to my mother who is his 'primary carer'. I had a list of companies to contact with regards to private care, however I was so impressed with my initial phone call with The Manager at Bluebird Care Burnley & Pendle that I didn't contact any other private care providers. I met her a few days later at my parents house and I was further impressed with her professionalism and caring nature towards my parents. The manager and her team have been providing care to my parents since Sept 2024 and I cannot thank them enough for all the support and efforts. If you are looking for private care for your loved ones then I highly recommend you make contact with the manager to discuss the services which Bluebird Care Burnley & Pendle provide.

Overall Experience

All the girls have plenty of patience with me and always do things with dignity and a smile. I would highly recommend Bluebird Care to all friends and family, the service you offer is second to none. After coming out of a care home, I was very nervous but the management went above and beyond and still visit me, they genuinely care.
