Caremark are a well-established domiciliary care provider with a strong local reputation and we are currently looking to recruit Care Assistant’s for the Barnsley Borough.

As a Care Assistant, you would be playing a fundamental part in a fast-paced industry, improving vulnerable people’s lives by delivering care to them in their own homes. We are actively looking for interested people who want to be a part of this and who want to make a difference to our customers’ lives.

You don’t need care experience to apply – you will receive our industry-leading training followed by full support as you continue your career as a Care Assistant with Caremark. What you do need is a positive attitude towards care and helping others as well as the means to do a daily route covering place to place, whether by scooter or car.

Duties will include:

  • Personal Care - Help with getting up and getting ready for the day and settling in for the night, washing, bathing, and toileting.
  • Practical Support - Domestic tasks such as laundry, cleaning, tidying, shopping, preparing and cooking meals, and grocery shopping
  • Administration of Medication

Hours of Work:

We are recruiting for Care Assistants who can meet one or more of the following work patterns:

  • 6:30am – 11am
  • 7pm – 10:30pm
  • 6:30am – 10:30pm

Weekend working: You will need to be able to commit to every other weekend or a permanent shift each weekend.
