Field Care Manager (Full Time)

We are an expanding domiciliary organisation going from strength to strength with emphasis on person-centred care.

Are you an enthusiastic and motivated person with the ability to work a flexible shift pattern and on call?

You will be fully conversant with regulations and standards relating to care services and will support the Operations Manager in ensuring that care delivery standards are maintained at all times. On a day-to-day basis, you will work with a team of Field Care Supervisors who are committed to delivering high-quality person-centred care, it is important to understand a  need for some field work when required.

This is a hands-on position where you will need to be motivated and passionate about the job. A minimum qualification of Level 3 NVQ /Diploma in Health and Social Care is essential and you will be working towards a Level 5 qualification.

You will have the ability:

  • To establish strong links with external multi-disciplinary care teams
  • To provide a cover service at the Eden Care offices
  • To monitor and support Field Care Supervisors in reviewing the care provided, undertaking regular supervisions and spot checks and support the quality assurance audits
  • To prepare statistics/reports on service delivery as directed by the Operations Manager.
  • To ensure the on-call rota is covered at all times, taking a share in the on-call duties and providing second on-call support to other on-call team members.

To be selected for this position you must hold a full UK driving Licence and be a car owner and driver. Company car will be made available.

The hours for this position will include every Sunday and 2 evenings per week with Fridays and Saturdays off.

Skills/Qualifications:

  • NVQ level 3
  • 3 years experience in domiciliary care
