T L Care is based in Hoylake, Wirral and has been providing professional, quality care and support to clients across West Wirral since 2002.
(West Wirral includes Heswall, Pensby, Irby, Thingwall, Woodchurch, Upton, Saughall Massie, Greasby, Frankby, Newton, Caldy, West Kirby, Hoylake, Meols, Moreton and Leasowe, with occasional visits further afield).
In relation to other care agencies, we are small. But we believe this is one of our strengths as we are personally involved with all of our clients, giving us the opportunity to build unique relationships based on trust and understanding.
We have a dedicated and friendly team of both male and female carers delivering care and support to members of our older generation in addition to younger adults with physical or learning difficulties.
We strive to "match" our clients to our staff members so everyone benefits, as life is easier if you are facing difficulties with someone you feel a connection with. Our role involves assisting clients to get up in the mornings, wash, dress and have breakfast, leaving them safe and comfortable in their own home. We also provide help with domestic tasks, shopping, meal preparation, medication supervision and accompanying clients to appointments and social events. We often return to help our clients to bed in the evening. With our younger clients, we provide help with practical life skills and accessing the community to enhance their independence.
We are keen to add to our team with individuals who have a genuine desire to help people, who are enthusiastic, respectful and patient and have a sunny outlook on life. We also need you to be a car owner and be prepared to be flexible in your availability to work as this may include evening, weekend and split shifts.
Some of our calls involve working alongside a colleague, at other times you will be working alone. However, at all times we guide, support and encourage you to be the best you can, providing the highest quality care possible. To this end, we also encourage you to take further qualifications in Health and Social Care, which are fully funded.
As part of the recruitment process, we will require two satisfactory references and a clear enhanced DBS check.
If you have any experience in a caring role that would be useful, however, it is not essential as we will take you through our thorough induction training and use a probation period to allow you time to settle into your role.
We currently offer £8 per hour plus 25 pence per business mile; in addition we have a monthly bonus scheme and free training.
