We have a great opportunity for Care Assistants or Support Workers to join our team.
Caring is different when you do it with us! We are looking for people to care in a professional way.
At Bluebird Care, we are renowned for the high standards of care and support we provide to people living at home in Amber Valley. We are known locally for our quality and true caring and we focus on being respectful, treating people with dignity and we encourage independence wherever possible.
Benefits of working for Bluebird Care:
We have a strong and happy team that works together to provide what is probably the best support in the area – our customers certainly say so!
Our average visit is an hour so that we have sufficient time to properly support our customers without rushing them. We do not usually provide 15 or 20 minute calls as we believe that you cannot provide adequate support in these short visits.
We have both full-time and part-time vacancies (minimum of 25 hours per week) and you must have a full driving licence and use of a car and live within 6 miles of Belper (DE56 1AX).
We are also looking to expand into the Matlock area so will consider applications from experienced Care Workers from Matlock and the surrounding southern Matlock areas.
The ideal candidate will:
Experience is advantageous but not essential as we provide full training and age is no barrier (18 – 60+) if you are fit to support our customers.
Everyone must share in the more unsocial hours of some early mornings and/or late evenings and you must have availability on alternate weekends.
We will consider applications for evening and weekend only working.
If you are new to care, we will train you and pay for you to achieve your Care Certificate, which is a recognised training qualification in Health & Social Care. We will support you with regular hands-on supervisions so that you can be confident and safe in the support that you provide. From then on, we’ll offer you plenty of exciting on-going training opportunities to help you expand your skills and become the best carer you can be. Caring is a vocation!
If you would like to join our happy team, then please apply and we will be in touch.
