Description

Right At Home Tyneside are recruiting for a Team Leader for their service situated in Newcastle upon Tyne and Tyneside to work with vulnerable adults in these areas.

We are looking for people who are confident, friendly and caring and feel that they can make a difference to people’s lives.

You will be responsible for maximising your team/shift performance in line with national standards and policies, ensuring the provision of a high quality, safe and accessible service to Clients.

You will ensure all staff are kept up to date with policy or procedural changes and service developments in a timely manner.

Responsibilities and Duties

The right candidate will need to be:

  • Sociable, flexible and a committed individual
  • Have previous experience in a similar role
  • Hold an NVQ level 2 qualification in Health and Social Care
  • Be willing to undergo an enhanced DBS disclosure
  • Hold a full driving licence and have access to your own transport

 

WE PROVIDE

All our staff will undergo training, this will cover: safeguarding, food hygiene, manual handling and customer service training as part of their induction, as well as undertaking the national induction standards training for carers.

Staff are also required to attend regular refresher training courses as part of the continued professional development.
