Description

You'll be helping a wide variety of Clients, for example, people with Acquired Brain Injuries, Adults with Learning Difficulties, Epilepsy and people with Cerebral Palsy. You will be a vital part of a multi-disciplinary team providing.
You will be required to assist the service user with direct delivery of care for their highest quality of life and inclusive care. This will include a range of duties that will form part of a care plan that has been previously agreed with the service user and representatives.
The care plan is individualized to the service user and may include:
• Eating
• Basic hygiene needs
• Social/recreational needs
• Nutritional needs – including gastrostomy
• Elimination needs – including bowel stoma care.
• Communication needs
• Moving, handling, positioning, seating, transferring needs
• Moving and handling of equipment
• Technical support associated with all needs
• Supervision regarding maintenance of basic safety needs
• Any other patient specific technical care
• Physiotherapy and passive exercises
• Management of seizure activity if applicable

Duties of the Job
•   Ensure health, safety and welfare of clients
•   Record Keeping – maintaining up to date reports such as care plans
