Can you make the difference to someone's day? Home Care Workers required for local office covering the Dover and Deal areas for immediate start.
About Us: Inchwater Home Care offers the highest quality of care to clients in their own homes and has been voted as Top Home Care Provider in Kent 2015 and 2017 and are CQC rated "Outstanding".
The Role: We offer a unique service and are seeking compassionate people to join our team. We need caring people to help look after older people in their own homes in the Dover and Deal area. Please note, this position is part-time only.
You will be working with just a small number of clients and, because we work differently to other home care providers, you will have the time and opportunity to build a caring and supportive relationship with the people in your care.
Your responsibilities may include companionship, medication reminders, home help and personal care. No qualifications required but you must be willing to undertake comprehensive and ongoing training.
We have very competitive pay rates from £8.50 per hour (rising to £8.80 after 6 months), plus holiday pay and mileage allowance. We pay enhanced rates for unsocial hours and weekend working (£9.50 to £17.00).
Flexible working is a part of the role and we ask our staff to be available to work alternate weekends, early mornings and/or evenings.
About You: Are you looking for a new direction but not sure if you have the experience? At Inchwater, we will provide full training before you start and continue to support you throughout.
Empathy is more important than experience and we welcome applicants of all ages. You will need an Enhanced DBS, although we are happy to assist you with this. Access to your own transport is essential.
