We are a privately owned Domiciliary Care provider based in Bromsgrove Worcestershire.

The role of Registered Care Manager is a challenging position where you can make a real difference to people we support within the Health & Social Care sector.

The Registered Care Manager will drive the company’s quality ethos, ensuring independence and quality customer care for service users and structured career development for staff.

You will need to demonstrate that you have strong people management skills, currently managing or supervising teams of staff who work within a community setting. You will be dynamic in your approach, have vision and ability to grow our business.                                                    

This is a permanent role and salary is dependent on experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities will include:

Reporting directly to the Director.

Managing the day to day running of the business.

Monitoring performances within each team

Overseeing quality assurance to comply with ISO 9001-2015.

Managing team and offering sound leadership.

Responsible for the safe delivery of care in line with legislative requirements and company policy and procedures.

Implement quality and improvement systems.

Working alongside the quality reviewing officer.

Effectively managing complaints and incidents.

Carrying out investigations as appropriate.

Must be a flexible team player.

You will work closely with;

The Care Coordinator

The Recruitment / Training Director

The Team Leaders

You will need:

Working knowledge of CQC protocols.

Excellent IT skills

Ability to prioritise workload

Ability to budget

Good knowledge of the local area

Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Able to work under pressure

Ability to troubleshoot at management level

HR skills

Ability to work to deadlines

A 'can do will do' attitude

Essential Requirements

Minimum of 1 years’ experience working in a domiciliary care environment

NVQ/QCF level 4 working towards level 5 in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification

Excellent customer service

Proven track record with CQC regulations and compliance 

Excellent understanding of the principles of high quality person centered care and support and non-discriminatory care practice   

Caring and compassionate towards people in need of care and support                                               

Hands-on operational and day to day management skills

Excellent time management skills

Strong organisational/planning skills

Very high attention to detail
