Responsibilities will include:

  • Liaising with the Service Manager to ensure all visits are covered and the service is delivered in a timely manner and in line with CQC requirements
  • Speaking with carers at a senior level
  • Coordinating and distributing weekly rotas and responding to ad-hoc changes required to existing rotas
  • Ensuring working patterns are efficient and planned logically using roster software
  • Allocating and processing new care packages and assigning appropriate care workers
  • Liaising with Manager and supervisors to plan shadowing and sign off of new recruits and actively contribute to team meetings
  • Professional communication with customers and staff regarding care packages and encouraging feedback
  • Monitoring and confirming attendance at calls using electronic monitoring system
  • Management of carer holiday authorization and cover
  • Liaison with compliance officer regarding staffing requirement and attend interviews where required
  • Maintaining company data protection and record keeping policies
  • Taking part in out of hours on call rota (following training and induction) and on occasions to cover care calls
  • On occasions to visit new clients and undertake care planning and risk assessments
  • Attend training events and ensure knowledge is kept up to date
  • Complete staff supervisions and customer visits where necessary

 

Educational and additional requirements:

  • Secondary Education
  • NVQ level 2 or above
  • Driving licence and car
  • DBS check
