The Role

Our Clients depend on their dedicated Live-In Carer to support them with daily activities essential to be able to live in their own home. You will live in the client’s home, providing a comprehensive range of care and support. Daily tasks may include:

  • Personal care
  • Meal preparation
  • Housework and domestic duties
  • Mental and physical stimulation
  • Medication monitoring and prompting
  • Shopping trips
  • Assistance with mobility
  • Companionship
  • Social visits to see friends and family

By becoming a Live-In Care Assistant, you are not only supporting the client to live a happy and fulfilled life, you will be a vital part of ensuring their family has peace of mind knowing that their loved one is in safe, reliable and caring hands.

What You Will Earn

You will have your own bedroom and all meals are provided, so living costs are extremely low. Salary varies depending on the complexity of the client’s care needs and the duration of the placement but typically range from £500 - £600 per week.

Training and Support

Moving into someone’s home to deliver care and support can seem a daunting prospect. To ensure you are fully prepared prior to assignment beginning and supported throughout, you will:

  • Undertake a comprehensive training program at our office.
  • Read through and discuss the client’s bespoke Care Plan with our Care Manager.
  • Be taken to the client’s home and formally introduced by a Senior team member and helped to settle in.
  • Have 24hr phone support throughout your placement from a team member living nearby.
  • Receive regular face to face support visits from our senior care team.
