Helmar Care and Community Services is registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) as an agency that provides home care services to older people in their own homes.

The aim to recruit experienced and qualified carers and offer training as necessary.  The organization is a registered charity with its objectives aimed at promoting health giving advice for the people of African descent living in the UK and Africa.

We are currently recruiting for a Care Coordinator to join our friendly team.

Duties include:

  • To organise and coordinate care services in accordance with current best practices, according to policy and procedures, agreed on standards, legislative requirements, and relevant regulations, under the direction of the manager and within the financial plans agreed from time-to-time.
  • To provide leadership to the Care functions of the agency.
  • To ensure that the staff allocated, and the staff attending to service users is always the same.
  • Assist in assessment of the effectiveness of Care implementation and delivery. 
  • Systematically solve day-by-day problematical issues which arise.
  • To serve out of hour calls - allowance will be paid for this service.

Hours are from 8.30am – 5.15pm with one hour paid lunch break.

Paid holidays are provided, Pension which you opt in or out.  Training will be provided.

Skills/Qualifications:

  • RQF or Diploma Level 3
