As Saga Care at Home grows, we need a special group of dedicated experienced Carers to work in our Welcome Team for our visiting care. Experienced Senior Care Workers
As an experienced carer, you will support the on-boarding of new clients (within our Welcome Team) and prepare the client for the long-term care team. In order to be considered for this role, you will need to have experience of care work, be prepared to travel across Hertfordshire (35p per mile for this role) and be able to work on a fixed working pattern. The working pattern requires you to be available 11 hours per day from 7.00am to 10..00am , 12.00pm to 2.00pm and then 6.00pm to 10.00pm. In return, we offer superb time off with up to 7 days in a row off for a great work/life balance or the opportunity to earn additional money with overtime.
In addition to the Welcome Team, we are also looking for Carers to join our established teams. To be considered for this role we don’t require previous paid experience so if you think this could be for you then do get in touch.

About the role
You will be giving your clients the help they need to live independently in their own homes. By assisting with all areas of personal and domestic care, you’ll be making a huge difference to their lives. Live-In Carers stay with the client in their home for two weeks at a time (although assignments can be extended). Visiting Carers visit clients in their homes on a regular basis. Both roles involve helping clients with their daily needs: anything from preparing lunch to popping to the shops. A friend and companion, you’ll give your client the freedom to get the most out of life.
Experience is necessary for the Welcome Team as well as being compassionate, naturally caring and determined to make a difference to others. You should also be happy working both independently and as part of a team. Above all, you must be committed to giving clients a high-quality service and treating every person with dignity and respect, so you’ll need to be considerate, helpful and understanding.
