Verity Healthcare Ltd is a pacesetting healthcare company providing services to Local Authority Social Services, NHS Commissioning Groups and private organizations and individuals.

We are currently looking for a vibrant, innovative, qualified and experienced trainer with excellent communication skills to help us deliver our courses that are related to the Health & Social Care industry.

They will draw on their skills to enhance the training and make each course enjoyable, interactive where possible, and to ensure that we meet all the needs of the attendees and their learning needs.

 

Responsibilities and Duties

To provide Mandatory Training - Health and Safety, COSSH, Risk Awareness, Fire, CPR, Infection Control, Basic Food Hygiene, Moving and Positioning, First Aid at Work, Medication, Nutrition and Safeguarding

To provide Care Certificate Training, all modules, review and sign off when completed or appropriate

To provide company induction training for all staff, both field and office based

Ensure all staff have received mandatory training prior to commencing work, both field and office based

Assist in the design of training and development programmes based on organisation and individual needs

Work in a team to produce programmes that maintain a high quality of delivery and contents

Review and update all training material to fulfil regulatory and internal requirements for delivery

Work in partnership to populate the scheduled training and manage training delivery

Deliver training and development programmes at accreditation level

Ensure that statutory training requirements are met in line with current Health and Social Care regulations

Keep up to date with developments in training by reading relevant journals, going to meetings and attending relevant courses

To be considered for this role, you should have a demonstrable track record in delivery of Health & Social Care mandatory training certificates.

Good working knowledge of Microsoft software packages

Skills/Qualifications:

  • QCF/NVQ Level 3 Health and Social care (including the Safe Administration of Medicine unit) or working towards attainment PTLLS Level 3 qualification or HABC Level 3 Award in Education and Training
