Due to growth in Essex, we are now looking for compassionate
Home Carers to join our friendly team.
The Role
As a Home Carer, you will visit clients in their own homes and support them with day-to-day tasks so they can stay independent, safe and comfortable. You’ll be a familiar, friendly face and a real source of reassurance for clients and their families.
This is a community-based role, so you will be travelling between calls within your local area.
What You’ll Do

Provide personal care (washing, dressing, toileting) with dignity and respect

Assist with mobility, safe transfers and use of equipment (e.g. hoists, frames, stairlifts – full training given)

Prompt and assist with medication in line with care plans

Prepare meals, snacks and drinks and support with eating and drinking

Support with light domestic tasks such as laundry, tidying and cleaning
-
Offer companionship – chatting, listening, providing emotional support

Accompany clients to appointments or community activities where required

Record clear, accurate notes after each visit using our care system
About You
You don’t need previous professional care experience – full training is provided – but you do need the right values.

A full UK driving licence and access to a car is highly desirable for this role as you will be visiting clients in their homes across Essex.

- Previous experience as a Care Assistant / Support Worker / Home Carer
- Full UK driving licence and access to a car for work
- Experience working with older people or adults with disabilities / long-term conditions
- Knowledge of dementia care
- end-of-life care or moving & handling
- Care Certificate or other health & social care qualifications (e.g. NVQ/QCF Level 2/3)
