You will be working 37.5 hours a week on a full-time, permanent basis. Your role will involve making a positive difference to the lives of vulnerable individuals within their own homes, ensuring they receive the high-quality support they deserve.
Main Duties of the Job

- Personal Care: Assisting clients with daily living tasks, including getting up/going to bed, washing, showering, dressing, and personal hygiene.
- Well-being Support: Preparing nutritious food and drinks, administering medication safely at the agreed level of support, and undertaking light household domestic duties.
- Companionship & Independence: Actively talking and listening to clients, promoting their independence, and helping them maintain vital connections with family, friends, and the wider community.
- Recording & Reporting: Maintaining accurate, detailed care logs and medication records, and promptly reporting any health, safety, or safeguarding concerns to management.

Person Specification
Qualifications & Experience
- Essential: At least 1 year of experience working within a home care (domiciliary care) setting.
- Essential: Possession of core care skills relating to home care, including professional English literacy, numeracy, and digital proficiency for record-keeping.
- Essential: Willingness to undertake and complete the standards required for the Care Certificate and any statutory training provided by the company.
