Serve is offering Christmas Day Dinner to those service users that are going to be home alone on Christmas Day.
Through the Waitrose isolation campaign, the public have supported this through the green token scheme raising £520.00 towards food on the day. The special dinner will be available to 30 people which will be held at Serve’s Well-being Centre in Church Street.
The General Manager Jess Slater stated: “We have been overwhelmed by the support from the public raising this money, we have also have 13 volunteers who will help on the day including volunteer drivers, cooks, and helpers during the day. The day has been supported by Musical Moments Singer Tracey Newell, who has offered to sing for the service users free of charge, everyone is really looking forward to it”
