A Brighton & Hove based home care company has been given the thumbs up by its clients, according to an independent satisfaction survey.
Home Instead Senior Care - Brighton, Hove and Shoreham, which specialises in relationship-led care for older people, has received the seal of approval with 93% per cent of clients recommending the home care provider.
The independent survey results also revealed that 93 per cent felt their CAREGiver was well matched to them and 100 per cent felt that their CAREGiver was properly introduced to them before they started working with them.
The survey also questioned CAREGivers and revealed that 100 per cent are proud to work at Home Instead Senior Care and 100 per cent recommending Home Instead as a great place to work. 97 per cent of CAREGivers felt that they are given enough time to deliver the desired levels of care and 96 per cent felt well matched to their client.
Liz Brackley, owner of Home Instead Senior Care – Brighton, Hove and Shoreham, said: “I am delighted with the results of our first independent satisfaction survey, which reinforces the anecdotal positive feedback we receive. Our model of care is different to other providers, and seems to be greatly appreciated by both our Clients and our amazing team of CAREGivers. There is little that is more important, nor more rewarding, than looking after the older people in our community, and I am proud that we are playing our part as well as we can, looking for opportunities to enhance our clients’ wellbeing”.
The daughter of one of Home Instead’s clients, Ms Julia Fountain, said “Mum was initially reluctant to have 'strangers' coming into her home. Every contact I (and Mum) have had with the staff has been so positive. The carers are well matched to mum and do a fantastic job. Mum is very happy with the service she receives and I feel as though a huge weight has been lifted as I am no longer the only person Mum sees regularly. Having Home Instead care makes me feel that mum can continue living alone. I cannot recommend them highly enough!”
The Brighton, Hove and Shoreham office of Home Instead Senior Care is part of a national network of 190 independently owned and operated offices. More than 5,000 CAREGivers and 5,000 clients across the network were questioned as part of the annual survey by Smith & Henderson. The results cited in the press release are the results for local office, rather than the national results.
