We are sorry that the son of the client was dissatisfied with our services and acknowledge that there were some operational issues with the provision but not to the degree for such a negative review.
We found that it is without foundation as we made every effort since the start of his mother's care package to provide an over and above-board service. The package came to us through the Local Authority, and we were informed that this package had been through several care agencies. We were providing 4 visits a day 7 days a week, from 417 visits we had to cancel 8 visits over a period of 4 months when care staff called off at short notice. We initially sourced a carer that had all the relevant skills and experience to be able to support his mother but during the 6th week, an altercation took place and the carer decided that she did not want to return. This was addressed with the son, and we immediately contacted the Local Authority. Despite all, we ended the package amicably from both sides.
