We are sorry that the contract was returned due to staffing issues in your area.  We hope that you can appreciate that the whole of Health and Social Care is finding it extremely difficult to recruit staff, particularly Durham City.  It has been a pleasure to have cared for your wife over the last 4 years and we are extremely sad to have returned the contract.
