We are disappointed to read this review as we have fully supported the client who himself has voiced he has no complaints in relation to the care received. We have discussed this package of care with the client and their wife in a professional review meeting earlier this week, clearly outlining the remit of our role as a care provider to the client. The reason for us not always being able to provide the full allocation of care was discussed at this review meeting and is due to the complexities with dynamics between carers and the family members, as well as only certain carers being able to meet the complex needs of the client fully. Regarding the use of the mobile phone, we use an electronic care planning and monitoring system which all carers access regularly throughout the sitting services to complete task notes and document care given. The client is aware that this review has been submitted and has expressed his disappointment and voiced his wishes for it not to be published.
