We took on this package of care as requested by CHC for domiciliary care and personal care support. At the onset of picking up the package, CHC confirmed that we as a company were only to support the client with personal care as the client was assessed by CHC for personal needs only. We have tried to introduce new carers into her team as her current carers have and will be taking annual leave and some had to be off due to sickness. It has proved very difficult to do as the client will not accept any new carers to support her needs. Our carers are fully trained to support her with her current care needs. Her concerns have been forwarded to the relevant senior complex care needs team in CHC, together with her medical team for review and we are waiting for the outcome of those meetings.
