We do appreciate that sometimes call times are not always appropriate due to availability and call times are agreed by the next of kin and the local authority before we start any care provision. We have on file a number of positive reviews from you during the time we cared for your relative, but we don't have a record of any formal complaints made by yourself. We do understand your anger and frustration towards office staff as we politely declined your attempts to give staff money, as they would be in breach of the Social Care Wales code of conduct section 2.8 relating to staff adhering to policies and procedures about accepting gifts and money from individuals, their families and carers. We did pass on your recognition towards the care staff regarding their high care standards delivered and please accept our heartfelt sympathy on the passing of your relative.
