I understand and appreciate your thoughts in relation to timed visits, unfortunately, that is the current model of domiciliary care across the nation; however, there is a new outcome focussed approach being piloted by our local authority, which we are all hopeful will improve the structure of how domiciliary care is delivered. That said, with the scale of the demand for Social Care and the limited workforce across the country. The challenges we all face are, trying to meet the support and care needs of our community with the resources our sector has available and this currently can only be achieved with timed visits assessed and granted by your social worker.
