In response to your review. There are times when we must hand packages back. This is due to us not being able to meet the needs of the client or if the client or family member is verbally aggressive to staff or management. We would in the first instance report this to the social worker to try and resolve. As a company, we do not tolerate Clients or family members being verbally abusive to our staff or our management team which was the case on this occasion.
All staff follow what is written in the care plan and this is completed by managers in the office as per instructions from the local authority.
At Seashells we regularly carry out reviews with all our clients and regular reviews are carried out with our Responsible individual and any issues are solved to the client’s satisfaction.
We are also monitored by CIW and the local authority monitoring teams on a regular basis.
