We are sorry to hear you felt a lack of empathy and compassion from our team. Our aim is to provide the best possible care to those we support. Unfortunately, in your case, we raised the issue with the LA immediately; our policies/regulations state that the medications are to be administered by a medical professional unless expressly authorised to do so. Your care Plan did not specify this and therefore we were not authorised to do so under our agreement with the LA. There have been multiple agencies prior to us who have not been able to fully support you. There were other concerns on the safety and well-being of our team; we served notice on the LA to end the package immediately. Unfortunately, this is beyond our scope and requires the LA and your GP to work out the best possible way for your care needs. We appreciate the failure in the system is causing you distress. This is not within our remit or ability to resolve. We can apologise for the distress this has caused you.
