Thank you for your response. We do ensure that new carers shadow more experienced carers and give them the opportunity to grow with a lot of support from the management team and their peers however recently we had a new carer who despite all support was not up to the task. As a result, the carer failed the probation stage and no longer works for Medical Partnerships. A letter was also sent out to all our clients to keep them posted. We take such matters really seriously to ensure a consistent level of care. We have great success stories of how new carers with no experience have grown in their role and doing really well. We are happy to discuss any concerns that you may have.
