Hi Russell. Very sorry to read this review. We had discussed on several occasions that the Care Quality Commission (CQC) require all records move away from paper to digital. We had a meeting between yourself, our manager and your social worker where we explained that paper records were being phased out from the sector. Digital notes allow us to check care in real time allowing us to address any concerns. Our carers have an App with a GPS tracker, used to log in and out of clients houses, giving us access to real time data of calls attended. The missing items you have brought up were wet wipes. We tried to keep their use to a minimum as you wanted to keep your costs low but the alternative would have been a risk of pressure sores if your mother was not sufficiently cleaned. Our manager spoke to you a few days before care stopped. You were said our carers 'were lovely' and you did not advise of any non attendance. Our carers enjoyed their time with your mother. She will be missed.
